27/7/2011 12:35 | Just in June they spent circa £180,000 | divinausa1
27/7/2011 12:32 | chrissey - 27 Jul'11 - 01:32 - 6291 of 6296 OK, like a dog, every dog has its day? unfortunately, this share has been of the "why does a dog lick its balls" ilk. Answer, 'because it can'! This share was hyped tremendously, value may will out but in the light of 'credibility' the brokers are remarkably quiet and bear in mind that they have a reputation to deliver meaningful numbers otherwise, where is there any sanity in the market? I see 300p before people wake up to the longer term value but what is there at the moment? =================== well the directors recent very big buys seems like they can see the value, so i have taken their lead, workout how much of their own money they have spent... | divinausa1

27/7/2011 10:11 | Agreed Blackberry. There is plenty of business for AVN to pick up. | ![]() yorgi
27/7/2011 10:07 | There is an article in The Times today (page 41) about BT promising to upgrade its network for rural users. However, the most interesting part of the article is that, even after this network upgrade, BT will need to use satellite to deliver broadband to the last 10% of the population. Wonderfully, in Nov, Avanti announced it had signed a 5 year agreement with BT to do just that. It all seems perfectly straight forward to me and the maths stack up as, it's far far cheaper for BT to put customers on AVN's satellite than it is to dig up roads to lay new cable and it can be done far quicker too! I really freel that momentum is building. | ![]() blackberrydrop
27/7/2011 07:38 | There is no argument that the share price performance over the last 6 months has been diabolical to say the least but as long as everything is going to plan in selling space on Hylas1 then the next 6 months will be better than the last. I believe in the business plan and I don't think directors would have been buying as they have been if all was not going well......even if they did sell a wad at the top. | ![]() yorgi

26/7/2011 17:32 | Don't need a scientific observation. Sadly, the way the share price has been behaving is only too bleedin' obvious ... AVN has been pretty disappointing, but its day will come ... | meljohn
26/7/2011 13:40 | not yet. no need to get agitated, I'm using a scientific observation to track the price since the launch of the 1st satellite, it's pretty obvious. | chrissey
26/7/2011 13:21 | chrissey....school holidays? | giovannina
26/7/2011 12:35 | I also calculated that by the time AVN has launched 3 satellites, the share price will be 1.375p. How cool is that, seems that the more tin boxes they will launch, the more the share price drops. | chrissey
26/7/2011 11:41 | Has anyone noticed that all the AT sells today are tiny ( 8,9,10,11,etc) quantities. Is this a way of registering lots of sells to hold the share price back? | ![]() bonty
26/7/2011 11:03 | well done togo2!...u clever boy ;o) | giovannina
26/7/2011 11:03 | togo2, buy some more - even cheaper now ! | ![]() backmarker

26/7/2011 08:23 | I have lost more money on aim shares that directors have bought.I now stick to large profit making companies. | togo2
25/7/2011 22:34 | togo if your also interested in directors buys haha look at hyr where the director last week bought 5 million! at 7.87p | divinausa1
25/7/2011 15:04 | By the way if any of you are influenced by Directors buying have a look at WTB . | togo2

25/7/2011 14:06 | bought more today really cant ignore the directors purchases here.... | divinausa1
25/7/2011 12:40 | I've topped up at this level. If you add together some of the previous announced contracts, we could be in for a interesting (and positive) update. That's the hope anyway! | ![]() waterloo01
25/7/2011 12:34 | now would be the time for them to be buying surely? maybe even they figured it is worth waiting for the shares to get even cheaper. | chrissey |
