Now eyes are on the successful operation of the to-be launched Hylas communication satellite built by ISRO/EADS Astrium for Britain-based Avanti Communications. Its success is expected to clear any doubts of India's capability in satellite manufacturing.

"We have taken care of the power supply glitches in that," an ISRO official said.

Edging up again 1% at the moment but 1% a day will do but looks like we may now push on drom 500p. As I said this morning another contract win or more will push us on nicley I'm sure. David Williams and his team are not going to let grass grow under their feet I'm quite sure

jeffian , I already hold but agreed with your summary of the day to day movement.

As we approach the launch date I might even add a few more if the market manages to drag these lower once again.

Hi Dil,
I'm still watching and waiting but rather feared I'd missed the boat over the last few days, so I'm glad to hear I'm not alone! The market's in a funny old mood at the moment fluctuating from despair (double-dip recession etc.) to euphoria. On 'despair' days, it's companies like AVN with some risk (however small) attached to the achievement of potential future earnings, that get affected. (This often shows in the intra-day movement more than the day-to-day graphs). Rightly or wrongly, I'm still anticipating an opportunity to buy on a dip between now and launch.

Well we are on the rise again breaking through 500p any time now and I would say we are on the run up to the launch now....less than 2 months away
