01/7/2010 12:04 | Another successful Arianne 5 launch took place on 26th June carrying TWO satellites! Roll on September!! | ![]() dolores123
30/6/2010 14:58 | Some news would be welcome - either another big fat contract and/or confirmation that AVN has opted for the Arianne 5 and confirmation that the launch date is in September. There has been a lot said about launch risk. However when you see how many satelites are actually being put into space every month without incident the likelyhood of failure seems very small. | ![]() dolores123

22/6/2010 16:39 | It would have to be very decent to tempt David Williams but I have to admit I had thought it is always on the cards. Patience till September is all that is required and then the launch ! | ![]() yorgi
22/6/2010 16:08 | There again it is not impossible for a decent take over bid to arise at some stage! | ![]() dolores123

22/6/2010 13:48 | I don't see any chance of buying in at current levels post a successful launch! I imagine the share price will show strength again as we approach launch date without further delays, but with 3 months to go I think this remains vulnerable to general market sentiment in the meantime, particularly as there's usually very little activity in July/Aug when most people are on holiday. I'm not arguing about it. I may be completely wrong. I just thought it was worth giving an 'interested outsiders' view when so many holders had been posting along the lines of "Why is this falling back?". Still, I'll be one of you soon, then I'll accuse myself of scaremongering! 8-) | ![]() jeffian
22/6/2010 11:46 | investors will run for the certainties of gold, gilts, bonds and blue chips Weren't the banks "blue chip" or BP So why not pile in? Well, two reasons really.......there is an element of uncertainty about the launch (both timing and, dare one say it, the risk of failure). However much holders may disregard these risks as minimal, If that is what you think please justify this... I certainly intend to buy these before the launch date, They may well go lower before going higher but they could rerate higher at any time. What is the downside you envisage before launch.I see the upside as 100% in the next 6 months. | ![]() sg31
22/6/2010 11:15 | Existing shareholders seem bemused that the share price hasn't continued on its vertical trajectory without a pause, so let me give you some insight from 'the other side'. I've had this on my watchlist since it was introduced to me by a shareholder a few weeks ago. I understand the potential; I've seen the contracts; I've seen the broker recommendations and price predictions. So why not pile in? Well, two reasons really. Firstly, whilst the general market is in such volatile mood, the promise of future revenues - however certain - is discounted considerably vs. actual revenues and, secondly, there is an element of uncertainty about the launch (both timing and, dare one say it, the risk of failure). However much holders may disregard these risks as minimal, in a weak market investors will run for the certainties of gold, gilts, bonds and blue chips and shun anything regarded as even vaguely speculative. I certainly intend to buy these before the launch date, but not yet, and with the potential for market shocks and the 'doldrums' of the investment market over the July/Aug summer holiday period, I wouldn't be surprised if they go lower before going higher. | ![]() jeffian
22/6/2010 10:22 | The share price has been trimmed on the back of small turnover, no doubt some sellers are panicking before the Budget at 12.30 today in case of any immediate CGT changes. | ![]() dolores123
