10/3/2010 15:27 | It's on my watch now.....surely with Roger Matthews, a non-executive director buying 25k at 235p recently he clearly thinks there is.....let me know what you think after tonight.....but better be on the ZTR thread or we will be in trouble here :-) | ![]() yorgi
10/3/2010 15:23 | Yorgi - nor me but they are doing very nicely....I'm already up 22% so just going along to see if I can determine what's left not in the price. S | ![]() smarm
10/3/2010 14:56 | expecting a good easter from them following a great christmas update | 5070481
10/3/2010 14:37 | Smarm - Had a quick peep at ZTR, not an area that normaly attracts me but they do look intersting and could well be a good buy Sorry for OT | ![]() yorgi
10/3/2010 14:22 | yorgi - hopefully so. I'm going because ZTR are talking and I'm a very happy holder so thought it would be nice to meet them. S | ![]() smarm
10/3/2010 14:21 | That might be interesting Smarm but somehow I think like most of us will think it has been oversold recently and nothing to worry about | ![]() yorgi
10/3/2010 14:14 | I think a lot of automatic stops would have been taken out at 450. S | ![]() smarm
10/3/2010 14:10 | looks to be like some institutions have taken the opportunity to buy a ton os stock at these silly prices - £0.5m traded today | terryebby
10/3/2010 13:56 | thanks ppl , that sounds smart | ![]() robrah
10/3/2010 13:52 | this is looking a bit like an MM shake now | ![]() melody9999
10/3/2010 13:45 | --->ROBRAH You are basically asking for people to start crystal ball gazing. Just average out your purchasing rather than buy in all at once. Regards, THE COUNT! | ![]() the count
10/3/2010 13:44 | could anyone suggest a better entry point. AVN has been on my watch list sin 2 months now , has ever dipped this low . I definately want in but not sure at which point . Any suggestions , any one ? | ![]() robrah
10/3/2010 13:36 | I agree Dolores so the question now is simply has it been oversold on this news. I personally think yes and feel the market would have reacted better to at least having it confirmed and the reasons explained rather than the speculation on the boards that just leads to panic. The fundamentals haven;t changed simply the timeframe that their expansion can kick in. Poor PR management from a team that up until now had been pretty good. | 5070481
10/3/2010 13:34 | Well I've been waiting ages for a good oppertunity to buy back in and I have taken today as an opportunity.....whet | ![]() yorgi
10/3/2010 13:12 | Watch out for Robbie Burns ("The Naked Trader" website) and his followers selling as his stop loss is activated soon | ![]() dolores123
10/3/2010 13:05 | This has done nothing but drop since I brought it at 495 - am just glad it's in my SIPP though and a planned long term hold and hopefully I can free some cash up soon and I can get even more when it starts to turn ... so am I worried -nope :o)) | blinkey
10/3/2010 13:00 | September Soyuz HYLAS Launch time: TBD Launch site: Kourou, French Guiana An Arianespace Soyuz rocket will launch on its first mission from the Guiana Space Center in South America. The payload for this flight is the HYLAS communications satellite for Avanti Communications of the United Kingdom. The Soyuz 2-1a rocket will use a Fregat upper stage. Arianespace will oversee the commercial launch. Delayed from May and July. [Feb. 4] Dont like this delay and the switch of venue. AVN should have told us before now! | ![]() dolores123
10/3/2010 12:53 | just snuck in for a little top up. Panic sellers. Buy when everyone is fearful and all that. 420 seemed a decent deal. | 5070481
10/3/2010 12:53 | Undertaker - I agree. What we appear to have here is stops being taken out....and a bit of panic. And don't forget the business recovery side of the business...even if people have their Cisco infrastructure they will need the back-up that only AVN (I believe) offer. But until we get some information from AVN it's all just speculation. S | ![]() smarm
10/3/2010 12:51 | Exactly my thoughts yorgi. This is not the market that Avanti is targetting. Must be another reason for the plunge and my money is still on the idea that launch may be delayed. As Avanti chairman said himself it is very much like the oil business that lots of money get poured into the infrstructure and after that the money pours in. An delay obviously puts back those improving profit forecasts. Whether this will happen or not I dont know. But it's always the case that lack of information causes panic in the market. | 5070481
10/3/2010 12:50 | I don't see how the above Cisco story has anything to do with AVN. AVN is satellite based - cisco is talking about upgrading router circuits to handle higher volumes of traffic - still does not solve the problem of getting the internet to locations not covered by fixed lines! | undertaker
10/3/2010 12:50 | --->YORGI Of course it does, but why let such trivial matters get in the way of a 'story' delivered with such positive conviction. :-) Regards, THE COUNT! | ![]() the count
10/3/2010 12:50 | Although clearly something has spooked it, you could be right 2010trader but I would not have thought it is not going to affect a satellite link which comes into it own in remote areas as we know......or am I missing something ? | ![]() yorgi |
