Watching AVN is about as interesting as watching Eboooooooo at the mo!

Have held these for two years on the sound advice of a pal. Im a self confessed novice at this game and what i know about the markets you can write on the back of a postcard. That said, can anyone give any estimates on the following
a) share price leading up to launch
b) share price assuming successfull launch

Am considering buying more as this stock does appear to be a no brainer assuming there are no launch problems.

An extract from the BBC article is

"David Williams, chief executive of Avanti Communications operates a satellite broadband service to 5000 customers in the UK and in Europe.

He said the Avanti service would improve dramatically in the summer of 2010 when the company launches its own KA band satellite, developed over three years at a cost of £120m.

"At the moment we're providing a limited service using rented capacity on a TV satellite," he said.

"Our satellite will be eight times more powerful. It's designed to provide 10 Mbps service during bad weather."

He hopes it will both bring down the cost to consumers and put Avanti into the FTSE 100.

"The satellite business is weird - it's a bit like oil exploration. You have to spend a huge amount of money to get the kit but once you've done that the money flows in."

Satellite due to launch Q2 according to latest info I read . Perfect time for mm's to play on general economic concerns , greek debt , etc to test the nerve of PI's and take their shares cheap ?

You spoke too soon......................Don't you just hate it when that happens...

Not to worry, unless they have launched the satellite without telling us and it has crashed (God forbid) then it's just a temporary dip.

Anyway the latest pullback seems overdone now so i'm in on the slight weakness.

AVN seems to offer fantastic growth with very limited risk. what's not to like?

Shared price has retraced due to a seller, however that looks like that overhang has now completed.
who knows when the next contract announcement will be? however what i am sure about is there will be one!
