I use an indicator called Heiken Ashi candles which are often good as a supplementary confirmation. The first (recent) 'positive' candle appeared this morning and has spent the last twenty minutes 'firming' up . . . Above 248 again tonight and I might open a bottle of Wincarnis . . .

because of distress situations etc
not connected to the market.

I just don't have the time to get that involved in preparing and posting charts. (Apart from which I don't exactly know how to do it – some form of hosting I would guess). I already file share information with my brother using Teamviewer and I have an account with Ge.tt both of which are very good for what they do. But I clearly wouldn't want to use Teamviewer to share my computer with others.

I'm quite happy to share my charting observations in written posts and will add RHPS information as I've done previously. I started posting on IDG recently and have a holding there as well as with SXX and BOD amongst others. But people get stroppy (well, have done in the past) when I go off topic . . .

I've pointed out before that I now trade rather than invest, (I'm retired and have a shorter time horizon than many others) and my charts only visually involve 3 months of information – there are those who would (and have elsewhere) ridicule this but they work for me. I also have some indicator configurations that I would want to guard.

I'm also mindful that despite all the 'good news'/fundamentals re AVN, the markets frequently do not behave in what many would construe as a logical way. Hence, I would not be surprised to see more sideways movement here or even a fall back to or beyond 240p . . . but let's not go there.

The availability of finance had the highest level of weighting factor for ESA in its final selection criteria. As part of its successful final submission, and based on confidence from the experience of working with ESA on many projects, Avanti committed to raise the capital required in advance of final contract signature. Following the Placing, it is expected that final terms will be agreed and contracts signed in March 2012.

ESA announcement this month.
£170mln military contract soon to be announced.
Hylas 2 we know about in June

The X factor contract win (i.e the unknown) (maybe).

The chart is good, the story is good. Directors buys are good.

50,000 buy after hours Friday bodes well at £2.50.

Seems a great stock to be invested in away from energies.
Just don't sell too early!

i've been tracking this one a while and while I still need to do some number crunching i'm long here.. i've gave a summary some time ago regarding the contracts and what their worth.. i've added some more stuff yest.. feel free to contribute..

As for charts johncsimpson care to share??.. i'm not rajstar.. but i do like a chart or two.. however i've only been doing them since april last year.. and more so recently since reading some of steve nisons works.. i'll knock some thing out on this one two.. but thought double bottom near here.. i use bollingers too.. and the 20/50/100 MAs.. also like RSI and MACD.. RSI on this is showing near over sold levels.. and very near a big reversal.. just forming the base and foundation for the lift off.. i also like sharing views on twitter lol.

Every sell is a matched buy of course. Volumes have been high.

Eventually it will dry up.

News obtained yesterday.

The seller is being accomodated......unquote.

We will hold here until its completed...........which could be any moment.

Also confirmation of progress........everything confirmed as EXACTLY as forecast. If anyone wants to buy, I suggest they get on with it.

Topped up on Friday, now a little overweight and will probably trade some at 330p to 350p, but hold the balance. So we wait for the lift off, of the statellite and the share price. Both coming........ dyor.
