I once made a huge profit from SC's advice going short, the price went from something like 3.00 down to about 0.05 in a few months.

Let's hope he's wrong on this one. Just bought a few.

The problem is that people in general always lose their nerve at a certain point, and sell regardless of fundamentals. Fear takes over and "excuses" for selling are found. Investing can certainly be difficult at times. Sitting on a share with good fundamentals and a falling price can be very hard even if not on margin.

Well if something has indeed gone badly wrong, and I sincerely hope it hasn't as I'm heavily ivested in AVN, then surely it would be blatant insider dealing for the share price to tumble without any RNS to the effect.

I don't think there is anything fundamentally wrong at all - just look at all those recent Director buys! Its just market nerves, nothing to worry about at all IMHO.

I doubt Hylas 1 is broken, its just shorting momentum taking it down IMO, but I do wonder about the real fundamentals here, the MCAP and the debt plus increased competition etc. make me wonder whether there is too much hype here at the moment.

Tsmith2, I agree. We have heard through tip sheets that management believe this is unjustified, I think it is time to hear it directly from management. After all for all we know Hylas 1 may be broken.

I'm fairly new to this share but cannot see what has caused the drop other than the attempt by certain people to drive the price down. Looks like a good opportunity to me to get in on a growth company at a cheap price now. I will certainly be buying in as soon as I feel some stability has returned even if that means I miss the bottom
