RNS 05/03/24 - "This financing has brought several new high-quality institutions onto the share register including a large European healthcare specialist fund"

If all that's been raised between SEVERAL new high-quality institutions and a large European healthcare specialist fund is £25 million between them they can't be that high quality.

Furthermore its only the REX Retail Offer is subject to the GM on 18/03/2024. The main placing has already been done so there should have already been TR1s for the institutions and large European Healthcare Fund if any had invested 3% or over.

P White said that there are no new institutional investors or a Healthcare fund involved with us now. He said these companies , now mentioned twice on two separate RNS's, are just holding accounts. I don't know what to believe could AVCT become be really misleading us or do you think PWhite knows what he's talking about?

Yes something has changed fundamentally and structurally. Fewer mug PIs are taken in by the therapeutic story. That is the root cause of the discounted placing not the CLNs that have been around since October 2022.

They obviously don't want it otherwise they would have subscribed for a big chunk when the share price was over a £1 to take a strategic stake. The fact that they've had to do a hugely discounted placing to the usual City of London Barrow Boys tells you all you need to know about how the BPs value Avacta right now.
