29/2/2024 10:58 | I did note someone said there was a post somewhere about selling the diagnostics division. Who was that, as the idea seemed barmy giving they are very recent acquisitions. It tends to suggest whoever posted in had knowledge, inside, on fund raising. It is entirely possible that some main players exited on the pump spike, knowing about the raise. I'd be amazed if that didn't happen for at least some, it's typical on the AIM. Sorry to see retail get shafted by Smith and the pump crew. And now what's left..... Trying to sell the same thing to the US, which Arisaph failed to do, or the results didn't justify taking it any further. Even then on success they are hopeful it can compete with similar Dox prodrugs in the pipeline with other companies, EG Sashqi. | ohwhatfun
29/2/2024 10:46 | Field Unless you already know learn both the behaviour of the vultures. I did say you know when raises are about as drops (defying PI logic) kick into play. Brokers request 2 weeks minimum to raise, 2 weeks where they know it's going to be a big discount, 2 weeks there some shorters have been tipped off AND market makers. Myles intentionally or unwittingly played right into their hands giving them a gift of High 70's when it was in the 70's to sell into, they would have been rubbing their hands at that one. 2 weeks to knock it down, more lows on the day of the raise, then a big discount on top. Go back 2 weeks, look at the chart, hovering around £1, retail thinking it's the bounce point. Raise become known, the market hammers it, spooking retail triggering uncovered holding and so on. A 50% drop in 2 week, but looking at the complications within the RNS the feels no doubt were out before the 2 weeks hence the long slide pre the dive. When money is needed and the share price action baffles the herd, abandon ship, there is nothing that can be done to stop it. Once it's in that mode it means all else by the company has failed. | ohwhatfun
29/2/2024 10:40 | "EG At what price do the bonds reset. Obviously that was part of the original deal but not shared hence many saw 95P as the floor." I think they will reset down at some discount to VWAP probably around 40p. Their will be anti-dilution clauses and other clauses they didn't disclose. | loglorry1
29/2/2024 10:36 | I bought AVCT today in fairly big size. I have been consistent in my posting and track record. The placing was scaled back so I suspect there might be some short covering and there will be some who believe in Smithy. | loglorry1
29/2/2024 10:25 | Fair comment owf | fieldhouse
29/2/2024 10:20 | As for a bounce. I noted the 13% short comment. Some that are short will have already had a deal with brokers and square up in the raise, including market makers, hence the regular oversubscribed placings we see. So shorts closing is often a non event as the shares are already there from the raise. Anyone that thinks that doesn't happen is far too naive. Some shorters simply get their stock via the raise before retail get a look in. In the placing a decent number will be purely flippers, which get sold to the retail fomo bounce army on open. Then a portion of those millions of shares transfer to traders looking for a quick hit, EG 10%. They won't hang around long happy to break even or take small losses if it seems a bit stale. Had it been a straight 50m shares 50p job done then it would be easier to predict, but it's not it's long and complicated. EG At what price do the bonds reset. Obviously that was part of the original deal but not shared hence many saw 95P as the floor. Companies are great at overstating the good, and hiding the bad. | ohwhatfun

29/2/2024 10:05 | So they have increased the placing by 5.7m due to strong demand! | bbd2

29/2/2024 10:04 | no volume coming in even at 52p have people had enough? | stockhunters
29/2/2024 09:53 | I feel for those ramped into dogs like this. | the imperialist
29/2/2024 09:51 | Looks like the market has served up some payback for McNumpty. | the imperialist
29/2/2024 09:42 | Sorry for holders here. This from Capital Access note today. "If Phase 2 testing enables commercial sales to start from 2026/27, we calculate a value for AVA6000 alone at 106p rising to 217p on the implementation of Phase 2 testing." 2026/27 ????? More raises required? I was invested in AVCT in COVID days - Medusa19 was launched and seemed exciting - but never got to market. I check in occasionally as now - but with the same management immersed in the R+D process but with seemingly no drive to expedite meaningful revenue anytime soon, I'll just keep watching. | melody9999
29/2/2024 09:42 | Chief Ramping Queen disappeared - like they do - tail between their legs. 95p to todays equals a nice loss for that individual. Others will have fared way worse. | amanitaangelicus
29/2/2024 09:25 | Field houseAre you one of them? | countbasie1
29/2/2024 09:19 | Can I ask you how you know who owns what shares? | 1347
29/2/2024 09:15 | Could i ask why we have so many concerned posters on here that don't own any shares ? Perhaps they like the sound of their own voices ! | fieldhouse
29/2/2024 09:14 | I increased my short two days ago, as it was so obvious it was coming, the price action told you that. Sorry for all longs who listened to those that said there was no placing coming, always better to go with your gut feeling. | the cronk |
