This is starting to look like AVCT can't raise what they need at any level.

People talking about a placing. It could be worse because if they can't raise any money we could be looking at administration here.

The FCA do not contact the company on 20% swings. Come on!!

Raj you don't seem to understand what forces an RNS.

The FCA have trigger points where at certain intraday share price movement levels they contact the broker/company.

That is to ensure there has been no leak of good or bad news with insider trading. It’s something like 20% up or down in a day.

Or on the back material public claims via media outlets, which then forces news to confirm or deny it.

IF any funding can’t fully be covered by the broker links, then others are approached, it then leaks badly, via the usual routes.

The details get shared widely media style and then an RNS is forced out stating, yes currently fund raising.

None of the triggers that would force an RNS have happened yet.

What we do know is they need a good lump of money in an awful market. Leaving it anywhere near existing cash depleting would be a very poor decision.

Company can't comment when they are in the process of raising equity. It's another sign of why its probably ongoing. Plus they haven't got much to say now Phase 1 is pretty much over and they need more a lot cash to take the drug to the next phase.

Not speculation they owe a death spiral provider £28m. That's not chump change and anyone putting new money into the equity will see that as a huge drag on the share price as the death spiral provider has to convert stock into the market at a higher and higher percentage of daily volume as the price falls. PIs like @tickboo wave that away and say its not a factor but professional investors take that sort of thing very seriously.

Not speculation the burn rate is huge and the cost of a phase 2 will be £10m+ p.a. maybe more so well above what a small AIM company can raise from the usual sources.

All these assumptions you have made are unknown ( unless you know these to be fact). What is pretty much nailed on though is that we would have had an RNS stating a retail placing is taking place, if this was the the case. It's been nearly 2 weeks since the speculation started and no confirmation. No news is good news in my book.

There won't be a license agreement. There has been zero industry interest in AVCT. Retail haven't got the firepower to fund this as AVCT need £20m at least. I can't see an institution putting money in this while the death spiral remains. Not sure what their options are at this point maybe a bigger death spiral?

If there was going to be a retail placing it would've been RNS'd by now. So something else is going on. More likely an II placing or a licence agreement in the making. If so, what will this do for the share price?

It ll be soon, just dotting the i.s and t.s. The new expected new convi strike price will ensure price action around 40-50p for me.

Tardis stuck on the M25 - ran out of chip oil. Darn. Come on Myles, we need an epistle. Duds and Papillon ,there.s a cheap Ibis in Carlisle if you need to get a room. You.d make a lively couple. Ps you only need to look at the normal share price chart to see it.s not looking too healthy. Mind I.ve always been wary of the Ichimoku - luckily I.ve bn vaccinated now. Once that Strongly Bearish H&S pattern formed on the AVCT chart recently at 100p that just confirmed the bearish Ichimoku chart and you knew then, Dudishes, that there was no way back for the AVCT sp

Assuming Tom's mate, Ouzo Man got in early today, his short is a killing.

I suggest he is somewhat late.

\It was a killing at 101p & 92p.

I'm sure Papillons chart may demonstrate?

One for you Mr Ouzo man, I'm sure
