Most likely there was more bidding in the last minute, some are waiting for that last seconds to put the order in.

when I looked at 16.33pm there was only 1... 1,355 shares @ 2080p

Thx for explanation of UT, but beyond my comprehension. Is it matching quantity of sakes and buys and then offering a price to cover the shortfall. That is a market within a market!Offer up to £20.70 as I write.

Just reported 2 large trades from late yesterday, that is over £300,000

16:11:39 2,007.00 6,900 £138.48k

Those trades move the price from 1900 v 2030 to 2000 v 2040

Myles thinks opening bids at £25 with the winner potentially needing to go as high as £30. Happy to hold and wait for the inevitable.

There are 3 times during during the day when bids for buying and selling can be matched and that price comes as UT.

Those prices can be put in on the Level 2, 10 minutes before the Time of 9am, 11am and time for the last one is 4:30pm and comes at 4:35pm as closing price.

today before 11am there were bids to buy at 2000p and 2020p
but no sells, so no UT as there was no match
it seems at 9am there was none either, but yesterday there were at the 3 times

Do the MM make the closing price or is it automatic by the stock exchange system. Yesterday's was distorted on the up side, today on the down side. As RSI comments this makes a mockery of the performance of the next days trading.

The constant reports of the Russian/Ukraine problems do not help the market nor for us to go much better, though up for the day so far though the Indices are well down.

Plenty of demand once again this morning and the share price moving forward accordingly 2000 v 2020 +40p, from the closing price not the UT price paid for the last trade.

After hours we can see the large trades delayed, all and all meaning someone is accumulating at those low prices.
The UT at 2020p above offer price 2010p
