re - Amazon and Spotify considering rival bids

Let's not forget AAA still suspended but due to being relisted soon, coming back with a higher bid.....

..... but any further approach for a bid will have to be on paper and re-listing with a share price close to 90 to 100p to have any chance ( the last placing was at 80p ), as the number of companies being interested is growing by the day.

Audioboom actually launched a new podcast today, but I suppose that news does not really tip the scale; in light of the revelation that big hitters are considering acquiring the company.

Glad you are still in, hopefully we will all get a decent return on our investment. I would imagine a bid before the next set of results. Irrespective BOOM will not see the end of this year.

If I was them I will contact the company immediately so as to suspend the shares while discussion is taking place. That will stop the share price running ahead and forcing them to pay more.

Millstone investor was given this tip when the share price was approx £5.

He was told “ their is only one boo “ yet he stuck with the shocking investment in boohoo.
He could have even chosen Henry BOOt 👢 as even that Boo has been successful .
But no , he likes to watch his money fade away on the pile of 💩 known as boohoo .

Agree with that Buggy. Some people can't keep their traps shut. Bid will come but leaks destabilise and get people nervy. With the woes of Wondery the bet has to be on Amazon. Spotify understand the space better, but with JP Morgan heading the Amazon team they are treating the acquisition very seriously. I assume Audioboom board, or major shareholders, will be contacted today.

PRESS: Amazon and Spotify mull takeover bids for Audioboom

(Alliance News) - Amazon.com Inc and Spotify are both considering making bids for London-listed podcast producer Audioboom Group PLC, which could materialise as soon as this month, Sky News reported Sunday.

According to people close to the situation, online marketplace Amazon has been in touch with investment bankers at JPMorgan on its interest in Audioboom.

Should an approach be made by either company, it is expected to be pitched at a significant premium to Audioboom's closing price on Friday at 1,760.00 pence.



In July 2021, Audioboom received a GBP188 million offer from London-based technology-focused investor All Active Asset Capital, however in September the offer was withdrawn, due to an overall lack of interest from Audioboom.

Shares in Audioboom were 10% higher at 1,943.75 pence in London on Monday, giving a market capitalisation of GBP306.5 million.

I am sorry the news of Amazon and Sportify intent leaked. This may actually delay the bid s they wait for the initial swing in share price to stablize.

Hopefully a bid around £30 per share. One thing is for certain and that is that BOOM will be acquired, the only variable is by whom and at what timeframe.
