17/4/2020 13:10 | Why is someone selling now? Not small transactions, yesterday and it seems to be continuing today. If the sales process is a common knowledge and you can be sure 2x move on the price why would you sell now ? | sir_dominic
17/4/2020 08:15 | $100m is the baseline. Market conditions - 50% of all big technology companies launched in recessions / bear markets. Many cash rich companies out there looking to bounce back post cv19 | rachelrileysbra
17/4/2020 07:55 | That would be £7.50 to £9 which surely can't happen in this market. Maybe last December when the process started there was an expectation this price level could be realised especially based on values paid by Spotify for The Ringer. If you're correct City Chappy there will be rapturous applause in the streets again tonight or beginning next week. | wooty01
17/4/2020 07:47 | CC - that's a big uplift on the current share price Informed opinion or speculative guess? | mdchand
17/4/2020 07:35 | You are probably looking at a BOOM takeover valuation between $130m to $165m. | city chappy
16/4/2020 15:07 | Sales process ticking along for 3 months or so. Last RNS suggested plenty of interest. Something exciting imminent it would seem. | poebardem
16/4/2020 14:58 | Never understood how MM work or think. Why not put the ask up to £2.05 and get buyers to pay over the psychological level. Because the MM don't want it?! | wooty01
16/4/2020 14:09 | That is the tightest spread I have ever seen for Boom - someone is clearly accumulating or looking to accumulate. Wonder what they know.......... | mdchand
16/4/2020 13:16 | Chris has been in #BOOM for a long time and he has a good idea of what goes on much more than most | rachelrileysbra
16/4/2020 11:35 | Maybe Chris knows something ;-)https://twitter.c | deanoblues
16/4/2020 10:21 | He will want a bit than 50% | rachelrileysbra
16/4/2020 09:24 | wooty, yes Nick Candy and Candy Ventures seem to hold more shares than listed as purchased. Candy Ventures also holds warrants to subscribe for 34,375 Shares at an exercise price of £3.30 per Share and Nick Candy holds warrants to subscribe for 120,000 shares at an exercise price of £2.50 (confirmed on 12/2/2020). For the warrants, that imlies: 34,375 x £3.30 = £113,437.5 120,000 x £2.50 = £300,000 Total = 154,375 for £413,437.5 Average exercise price = 413,437.5 / 154,375 = 267.8p Assuming he would want 50% upside = 401.7p So reasonably safe to assume a takeover price (taking into account the 318p average price of shares purchased [Post 2689] and the average 267.8p exercise price of the warrants, would be above 400p. Also factoring in the company is growing and is in a growth sector. | hottingup

16/4/2020 09:06 | Hotting up I do agree with your calculations as far as they go. But Candy has around 3.4m shares as he owns 27% of the company. Perhaps even more as I thought he was nearer 29%. The fact is he will not be accepting less than £5 if he's true to his reputation of a great deal maker | wooty01
16/4/2020 08:55 | If you add up all of Nick Candy's share purchases listed in the heading (dividing the number of shares bought in each purchase up to and including 21/6/2019 by 100, to take account of the subsequent 1:100 consolidation) you get: Total No shares purchased = 1113718 Total paid = £3542802 Thus: Average price paid = 3542802 / 1113718 = 318p Assuming he would want a 50% upside to his average 318p purchase price, in a takeover, this suggests a takeover price of: 1.5 x 318p = 477p | hottingup
16/4/2020 08:24 | iHeart are very interested apparently and there is history. However I am expecting another to outbid them. Just a hunch. | rachelrileysbra
15/4/2020 06:13 | As far as I'm aware they are among the interested parties in the data room. That's great to see that they 1. Have enough cash. 2. That the industry is continuing to grow and also even busier as expected in this period of time with the lockdown. | richyrich8
14/4/2020 17:44 | I wonder if iheart are in the data room ?? | mrspp1

10/4/2020 06:46 | Agitated is the word. Very suspicious. Living in the past and can't accept RRB has been right all along and he's grasping at straws or his... AB has been offering up plenty of chances, more than deserved at steal prices. Chances will run out v soon. | poebardem
09/4/2020 14:13 | A very snappy little dog. Yap yap yap. Someone needs to put you on lead and take you walkies. | wooty01
09/4/2020 11:43 | Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend ;-) | deanoblues |
