Yes I’ve got shares. Will I make money when if it sells, well that depends on what it sells for. It’s a modest holding and I do have faith in the company, but I continually see these types of messages on the boards and find predictions on dates a little tiresome. If I predict next week every week at some point I’ll be right.

JTMG / true8lue - Have you got any shares? Are you going to make any money when it sells?

JTMG - I may end a few days or so late even a week ... it is not if, it is when.
Have you been researching (clearly not) the clues are there ... Some on here getting very close.
Penny will probably drop for you too late

And what value has been put on Luminary in this last round of fund raising? Even at a 20% drop from last valuation of $200m that makes £160m which is an incredible 5 times Audioboom. And Luminary are really struggling with their business plan whereas Audioboom have proven that they have been successful with 100% increases year on year for 3 years. I hope Raine are pushing the same metrics in negotiations. Wouldn't that be something to celebrate as we break free from Lockdown.

Certainly many possibilities make sense at the moment.
RP not willing (person reason and justifiable) to move to the US, a US based CEO replaced him, US based companies very interested

iHeart - late 2016 / early 2017 they got an agreement in place with Iheartradio, a sub company of the now iheartmedia

Any time now I would think

Great, wouldn't that mean AudioBoom sits nicely in the next phase of growth, particularly (as someone posted previously) with Boom being already in bed with iHeart?

“iHeartMedia enters this next phase of growth as a multi-platform audio company with a vastly improved financial profile. We are well-positioned to continue to innovate and offer cutting-edge technologies, products and services to our audiences and advertisers.”

I went through several articles once again, mainly about podcast industry consolidation, recent acquisitions etc. I have 3 companies on my list. I discounted Spotify as they need more time to digest their recent purchases. My number 1 is actually Audible backed by Amazon. From all 3 companies Audible/Amazon would have good cash position not affected by Covid. Number 2 Sony - I’m just not sure how much Sony’s other businesses were affected and how brave would they be. Number 3 iHeart - I think for them it would be a major undertaking to buy #BOOM now and they were already shuffling things around their business to free some cash even before Covid started.

buys and sells misreported ... happens everyday on lower liquidity stocks.
only defined by the mid price. Never gets corrected

They should show a correction at some point then? Would be strange if that's true?

When I said "Saga" I did not mean it in a negative or sarcastic way. I meant my involvement with Audioboom which is probably longer than some of you. My average price is 214 and I started buying in long before Triton.

Words matter but words are only words, people can sell you many beautiful stories or the ugly ones on BB depends what their intentions are.

Topped up yesterday end of day.

Just a note on todays trading some if not all of those transactions at 204.75 are buys not sells. I know that as I've just bought at that price!! Could be a bit of buying going on?

I have heard £7.50 mentioned by people who are 'close'.
Personally I believe $10 is fair value, however given my low average anything of £4 over would be great.

Good post Rachel. Words matter - business is correct. We have all expected that at least two parties are interested. And if the decision of the directors is made more complicated by the different structures of the offer then they have the fiduciary responsibility to put the best offer to the shareholders.I don't know what your definition of cheap is. Do you have a figure?
