Digitalis, what number did your 'research' conclude was the excess of creditors over debtors as of today i.e. the current black hole? Do you think more or less than £5.7m?
I hope you didnt buy big at 7p settlement 30 days and are now desperate to pass on your dead shares to another unfortunate...

BP, I agree but the shares are worth 0p. Adventis' balance sheet is bust and the shares are submerged under creditors. The Directors' Dirty RNS didnt mention that.

As of today it has about £5.7m net liabilities apart from the remaining material assets of the Technology division businesses. [The property business is worth little]. That £5.7m black hole is about £1.3m worse than 2010. The Dirty RNS didnt mention that either.

The Tech division made only a £0.5m operating profit in 2011, which was down over £0.5m from the £1m in 2010. The Dirty RNS didnt mention that deterioration.

What is a people business generating post-tax earnings of £0.4m worth in a distressed group? £2m max. How is that ever going to cover the £5.7m black hole? It isnt. And Adventis has £1.2m pa of central costs so the black hole is getting bigger every month.

This is just stock market deceit. Anyone who buys shares as an investment, not just a gut-feel short-term wild punt trade, is a mug.

Sorry. But AiM Regulation wont protect you, they always turn a blind eye to this kind of deceit. Caveat emptor.

Linsader, I am being proved right here. The spike was a sucker spike, instigated by a misleading management statement, boasting £29m revenue, when revenue from continued ops is only £8m. Reality is now sinking in. The shares will be back to 1-2p shortly.

If s/he has any sense they would not have posted if s/he was buying. This is not a strongly traded share - until the last couple of days - It just sits there going down, generally very slowly, until we had that spike.

If someone wants to make money on it they would not post keep an eye on the price and then go in big on any halfway decent news. That is what happened. Now those big beasts will be busy winding down their position and not want to scare the horses by posts on a bb.

Unless they get the HO costs down, is this not still going to be a loss making business? baffled by rise I have to say, but there you go, it is on the way down now, let's see where it settles....

LOl, 2 days since the spike and you offer those few words of wisdom, astounding. Not brave enough to have offered those words on the way up though, usual drivel. Filter island , life's too short.

Let me suggest that there are many holders who have been holding stock for many years. It looked as if it was going bust but still kept trading. Then along comes a halfway decent trading statement (note half way) those stale holders see the share price jump and have averaged down.

As there are only 47m shares out there any buying was certain to lead to a big rise. Others note the rise - was on the leader board 2 days running - and jump on board. Now the jumpers are taking profit on their stop losses and we can see the share end up falling quicker and quicker until ......... well where will it end who knows.

I do know that on Friday and Monday there were 6 digit trades going through 250k, 100k etc.

Today first thing when I looked trades got smaller and smaller.

this share price rise is seriously baffling me - this is in no way an attempt at a de-ramp as i have never shorted a stock in my life but the balance sheet of the company is woeful. Even though the remaining businesses are profitable, significant profit jumps would be required just to cover the central management costs let alone start to service the debt. Maybe I'm missing something but I just dont get it

2.8p to 9.1p ? Did you do that then falia ? Nope

andrbea ... never seen a rise bigger than this ? SAR went from 0.25p to 4.45p in 3 days last year.
