30/10/2018 18:32 | Totally agree Mr O, Astor will be status quo. And although there will be no surprises, i suspect the stock price will get a bump simply down to ATYM no longer having this monkey on our back. I also believe other investors (institutional or private) have previously passed on ATYM for no other reason than the uncertainty caused by Astor | riotinted_specs
30/10/2018 17:36 | rouge Or are we looking at 4p or even 2p ? now that would be a snip ! | gcpinc

30/10/2018 17:17 | The 10 million is because we're not paying them anything...if this is the final judgement, that'll have to change...either staged payments will start or one lump sum... AIMHO as usual...GLA | rougepierre
30/10/2018 11:23 | cross read : Antofagasta was lifted to 'neutral' from 'sell' by UBS, | mronions
30/10/2018 10:14 | Very interesting isn't it Mr O.., finally we get to be able to plan around the facts, not just best guessing ahead of the results.. Astor/Touro funding/II share sale all wrapped up together in some form or another.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
30/10/2018 09:47 | @Ritch1e great find . thanks IMO will be status quo ... the original contract is flawed . Same terms as before and both parties encouraged to negotiate new terms. However, any definitive decision has to be good. We need to pay Astor , opens up finally debt markets. Wondering what all the scenarios are ... Maybe the judge changes the payback calculation ie no longer > 10m profits triggers repayment . Maybe based on turnover or something else. | mronions
29/10/2018 21:12 | Cheers rob. Waterloo, I would think the Touro permit decision is more or less known, one way or the other. As you say it will determine the price, would anyone sell for less if they thought that they could get more a little way down the line? Would anyone consider paying a price that factors it in if there was a chance that it wouldn’t arrive? As for Astor it will no doubt present a bigger obstacle for Atalaya than someone with deeper pockets. As LLB say interesting period, might be the catalyst to move us forward regarding the 'review'. | rich1e
29/10/2018 20:30 | Well spotted, #robmcelf2, I've been checking the results, but not the daily case list.. :o) Take notice that on THURSDAY, 1 NOVEMBER, 2018 in COURT 68, at TBC, Judgment will be given in the following. FINAL DECISIONS So the result will be ready for download on Friday morning.., a very interesting period for the company as this comes to a conclusion.. at last.. Best guess is we will still have to pay Astor what they are due, and over the same period of time, but we have successfully stalled them for 2 years while we get better positioned and build the PRT expansion to generate the cashflows/profits to do it.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
29/10/2018 20:16 | In Court 68 you have to scroll quite far down to see it but you get there eventually!! https://www.justice. | robmcelf2
29/10/2018 20:08 | Lot's hanging on the outcome of this and Touro permit. Must determine what price the seller gets out/buyer comes in. Dodgy markets don't help, but pure copper play is timely. | waterloo01
29/10/2018 20:03 | That's great news, but where did you source this info...? about time this all came to a head and we know where we are...! | laurence llewelyn binliner
29/10/2018 18:39 | Judgement on the Astor case is on Thursday 1st November - finally!!!!! | robmcelf2
29/10/2018 12:04 | the streetwise reports seems to suggest cobalt in Spain / Rio Tinto I am aware that Cobalt is seen as a potential super commodity in the future due to its use in batteries Most cobalt today comes from copper waste processing in Congo I wonder if there is more to this : Alberto has never mentioned Cobalt. We only seem to be focused on silver as a by-product in tailing waste. | mronions
29/10/2018 10:57 | There was an interesting article in the Sunday Telegraph MrO about EV batteries and China's massive investment in EVs and their batteries. All good stuff for copper but worrying how far behind we are on battery technology/productio | husbod
29/10/2018 10:45 | potential new growth for ATALAYA : COBALT ... by-product from copper mining EMED / ATALAYA mentioned in article Electric cars will need : Copper (wiring + magnet motor) + Cobalt (battery). Like Copper, a supply crunch is coming in Cobalt. 65% of Cobalt is mined in Congo . COBALT | mronions
29/10/2018 10:38 | is there a seller? has anyone spoken to a broker ? | mronions
29/10/2018 09:47 | Why is there a belief that there is a large seller ? stock moved 260 down to 240 , that is Ok considering our move up and what other miners have done , KAS for example. | mronions |
