Changing the subject, here is a very good bullish article on copper:

hxxps://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/base-metals-investing/copper-investing/gianni-kovacevic-dont-lose-sleep-copper-demand/

And on the strength of that I've bought into KAZ Minerals at 476p for the first time...don't know how I ever missed it...

Aye rougepierre but you did buy Fres at 15 quid now a cheap as chips 9, and VILX at 14p now down to 7p and a few others, but you don’t crow about them half as much.
Then there’s the getting out of ARS with a 10% loss after translating a news article, I missed the bit where you came on here to warn everyone else, after ramping it, that’s a bit poor really.

Exactly like EMED, ATYM will never deviate far from its ten year old IPO price of 8p (240p) as an independent copper miner. None of the progress mede since a bunch of Australians bought a derelict pit to becoming the producing company it is today has made a spot of difference to shareholder value. I have always been convinced that nothing will change that, have always been proved correct, and see nothing to change my view now. Bring on the takeover so private investors can make some money out of this perennial turkey. It is the only way, and please don't spout off about trading profits that may have been made because that has nothing to do with shareholder value and is simply a factor, if well timed, of responding to normal deviance from a straight line.

IC View

That doesn’t mean a sale is a shoe-in, and a complication could be an ongoing dispute over a deferred consideration related to the Riotinto mine with previous owner Astor. According to Peel Hunt, Atalaya’s shares trade at a 22 per cent premium to the discounted cash flow valuation implied by current copper prices. That’s dearer than Antofagasta, CAML and KAZ. Indeed, there’s the possibility a buyer won't be found, which makes this a risky speculative bet, but one buttressed by falling copper stockpiles and limited project sanctions; a buyer with a long-term view should be able to see substantial value in Atalaya. Buy.

Long term finance is off the menu with no AAU.

Lose Astor = need funds
Touro permitted = need funds

Placing on the way.

Only "strategic" option, can't see a buyer or funder with no AAU.

Great plus one posts at the header here Rodders.

Sounds as if Chronic Investor has picked up on the story that excited us last week. Nothing new there I suspect.

Well done Lee. Congratulations fella!

There's some idiots on here who would lambast you for bragging, but I give you due credit for the way you managed your holding, with farsight and the single-minded belief that many others have had on here...

Congratulations and I hope you invest it wisely (maybe you'll give us an inkling...?)

But I say again...if Harry was still running this you'd still be waiting...

AIMHO as usual...
