Funnily enough waterloo, although you are no doubt already aware of it, ATYM and IMM were two of the shares Share mag pointed out as having potentially transformative years in 2018.One nil to ATYM today!

"In Spain, Atalaya Mining (ATYM:AIM) is to start work on an €80m expansion project, upgrading the processing facility at its Proyecto Riotinto copper mine. Construction will start in 2018 and the whole project should be up and running in early 2020."

Copper now $3.31, up over 10% and a static SP, I topped up before Xmas and am still waiting for the bounce..!Silver is recovering well too and the one to watch as the credits offset the Tc/Rc costs/impurity penalties...Hoping for the Touro PFS news today/ tomorrow which we are expecting before year end...

How very interesting waterloo. I saw your moniker on the bb over there but thought it was waterloo3 and therefore someone else. Assuming you still have an IMM holding we should be ok unless they both bomb. IMM is more likely to do so but by the same token it is more likely to do something special as well. Interesting times.

Hate to say it fellas but I've lightened my load purely to invest in something that might actually move in the next few months. To be more precise it will definitely move and quite dramatically but it could be either way. Take a look at IMM which motley fool has just covered. This is definitely not a recommendation by moi but in the spirit of Christmas I thought I would share it with you in case it is of interest. I am of course a holder.My sells here had no affect on the share price which at least means there are buyers around. I still have a pretty decent holding.

CU at its highest in 3 years and has just risen in price every day for 14 days, its longest run in history.

At $3.30 we will easily do 100m euro EBITDA just on the 9.5mt. That should be enough head room to both fund the gap to 15mt and pay off Astor, should that happen.

A debt free company producing 10mt now and 15mt by end 2019 (and an EBITDA of 150m Euro based on $3.30 copper) and with Touro ahead to keep the growth going. Add in the recent option on a zinc mine and this should be an exceptional year ahead.

Holding this the other copper producers should be a very profitable position over the next years.

At this rate $4.00+ copper in 2018 and over $5.00 before 2020 doesn't seem quite so fanciful. I've added today. Still below the £1.67 placing price when copper hit $2.98
