07/12/2017 16:27 | Tears the size of October cabbages #shortarm.. :o) The placing was taken up, over and above the point where we generated enough funding to press on with the 15.0MTPA plant upgrade.., another step forward on our 4 year journey to a 90-100,000 Tonne multi mine company.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
07/12/2017 14:58 | At 12:15 Old teary eyes (Onions) was still bashing the stock....Guessing he'll be buying his shares back soon :-) | shortarm
07/12/2017 13:25 | Bought a few 1000. If (when) copper rises so should the share price Just get on and deliver the results. We remain essentially debt free, profitable and just as undervalued as last week. | waterloo01
07/12/2017 13:09 | 23M shares offered, 18.5M total taken up, 16.7M taken up by existing II's, and 1.8M taken up by new II's.., leaving potential for a rump placing to PI's, but having already secured more than the minimum needed, we can press on and build the company up to 15.0MTPA, using off-takes, and another cash for concentrate deal with Transamine.. All good news, isn't that right #Onions..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
07/12/2017 12:58 | Excellent news-funding for expansion sorted. Starting immediately-no waiting with this lot. Onwards and upwards-touro next. For those who only invest/trade in the short term ie 3-6 months then maybe better to move on. For medium-longer term holder as far as I'm concerned this puts the foundations of growth in place. | mpclag
07/12/2017 12:48 | Traf takeover , would be awful - core shareholders would act in concert and offer a sub value offer, what could we do? | mronions
07/12/2017 12:31 | Could have been better for sure. Does it raise the prospect of a Traff take over? | waterloo01
07/12/2017 12:15 | FAILED TO PLACE ALL STOCK that is very negative - the take up of stock outside the core shareholders was pathetic - for placing like this you want something to be over subscribed - here all investors got filled on their amount and they still could not place all the stock tells me clever institutions do not see us as investment quality - IMHO its the link with Trafigura means BAD BUSINESS - and court case that we are expected to lose RNS : 18,574,555 new ordinary shares (“Placing Shares”) with new institutional investors and existing shareholders. The Placing Shares will be issued at a price of 167 pence per share raising gross proceeds of £31 million. | mronions
07/12/2017 12:11 | £31 million raised, of the £39 million originally mooted. Looks like they couldn't find enough II to take up the short fall. SBT | superbobtaylor
07/12/2017 11:16 | As I understand wasn't the best day to launch the offer when copper crashed 5% and everyone one was (briefly) reassessing where they were on copper. At least the main players are happy to fund this round. Guess when it comes to Astor/Touro they will take a smaller % to free up some float. | waterloo01
07/12/2017 11:12 | It does seem that way | come on
07/12/2017 11:07 | Well that didn't go very well. Barely managed to sell any additional shares apart from the ones to the core shareholders. Doesn't that now mean that their percentages are over what was agreed? | keisersoze
06/12/2017 17:12 | Just over one year, the current copper upswing rouge | rich1e
06/12/2017 16:52 | Let's hope the copper price is rising on 11 December... | rougepierre
06/12/2017 16:22 | #waterloo, yes it will be.. the enlarged shares in issue up from 117M to 140M, and the resulting free float in PI hands down to 17% if it's fully taken up.. The company already has binding commitments of enough to make the placing happen, so the only question is who will be our new II partners..?, we will have an RNS next week telling us who .. The Placing is currently expected to conclude on or before 5:00 p.m. GMT on 8 December 2017, with admission of the Placing shares to trading on AIM becoming effective on or before 12 December 2017. A further announcement will be made following completion of the Placing.. If it's over subscribed..., the open market awaits, and that can get the share price rolling pretty fast..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
06/12/2017 16:09 | The locals seem to like the expansion. More jobs... Atalaya will invest 80 million euros more in technology for the Riotinto mine Monday 4 - December - 2017 It is also a new economic boost for the province, with significant peaks of hiring personnel in the installation work, which would last about 18 months. This new investment comes to be added to those already made by Atalaya Mining, which in total would exceed 300 million euros only in the historic Huelva mine. It is also a new economic boost for the province, with significant peaks of hiring personnel in the installation work, which would last about 18 months. In addition, the increased copper production capacity will undoubtedly mean an increase in the needs of permanent staff, although there is still no concrete data in this regard. | waterloo01
06/12/2017 15:09 | This is going to be an interesting test of II appetite. Does the full lot get away? Would have been nice to see the share price hold £1.67, but you couldn't buy in any volume, so doubt will effect the raise. If it is filled in full the share price should climb significantly IMO as not only has a majority of the financing question re PRT gone, but even more of the free float will be in II's hands. If it doesn't get fully filled they have enough already from the main holders to go ahead, but would they need to alter the max % they are allowed to hold? | waterloo01
06/12/2017 14:06 | Copper rebounding, you should buy your shares back soon #Onions, or you might miss the boat, and no one likes to see that ... much...! | laurence llewelyn binliner
06/12/2017 13:46 | And lango with largo. | husbod
06/12/2017 13:45 | Bloody iPhone replaced my selection of smiley faces with question marks. | husbod
06/12/2017 13:43 | In that case rouge I've lost all faith in them. Grossly incompetent and should be replaced by onions, Reba and largo. Only then will we flourish ???? | husbod
06/12/2017 12:57 | Husbod...the Board can't have known the copper price would fall 4% in one day... Don't worry, it'll be back... | rougepierre
06/12/2017 12:55 | Mr O.... Please take a step back and reflect, because some of the things you are saying don't make much sense, especially: You say you have 100,000 shares, so why reduce your own wealth by negativity; Raising the money from debt would have immediately triggered the Astor payment, so we would simply have had to hand the money straight over. What message would that send to the market? People like you would say we had capitulated...For as long as we have a chance to win the case, why do that. But we can't escape the liability indefinitely... Indeed there may be a sub-plot here, because raising money ostensibly for the expansion of PRT is a positive message and it doesn't trigger Astor. Whereas if we had lost the Astor case and had to do a placing to raise the cash to settle, that would probably hammer the shares with a double whammy... Finally, even on its own merits, this makes total sense. There is much more unrealised, unassisted copper on the PRT property. By upscaling to 55,000 tonnes means that with Toure we could be selling 100,000 tonnes in 2/3 years time. Commodities markets go in cycles. Some experts still think we're in the last bear market but sooner rather than later the upswing will be confirmed as EVs boom. The longest sustained copper upswing in history is only 5 years and the current one has already been going nearly 2 years. So it makes sense to be selling as much as is humanly possible as soon as possible... Hope this helps... AIMHO as usual... | rougepierre |
