Are you actually being serious about Trafigura . . . If you are then it's a ludicrous suggestion . . .

How will the PRT expansion, Touro and a zinc project be financed without significant dilution/debt? I know Atalaya are throwing off cash at the current CU price but surely a few years accumulation of money will be required before these projects could be paid for from free cash flow.

I do like the business model that is evolving here in having an asset producing profitably as a base on which to build, rather than many where it's all about prospecting, permits, finance etc (think EMED under Harry!).

#waterloo01, interesting reading there.. we were reported to be lining up a Zinc project some time back, but this now seems to be accelerating towards another feasibility study..

1 - PRT Expansion
2 - Touro
3 - We have now won land rights to a Zinc project
4 - AL is a NED on a gold project too..

Plenty of news to come in the next RNS with the Q3 financials.. :o)

I see we are already looking at further projects (Zinc) all further down the line. All part of building a much bigger business.

Exploitation of Besaya zinc mines could start in 18 months

Land rights were awarded to the 6 offering companies, although the most benefited were a Canadian and an Australian SANTANDER, Oct. 24 (Europa Press) The six companies awarded the land rights to the Besaya zinc mines will be able to start "already" with the underground exploration surveys and the first exploitation work could start in 18 months. This was pointed out Monday by the Minister of Innovation, Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Francisco Martín, after the award by hi ...

Are the indexes looking a bit frothy.., and due a correction..?

Dow Jones +18% YTD
SnP500 +15% YTD
NASDAQ +22% YTD

FTSE100 +5% YTD
FTSE250 +12% YTD, a more measured UK return than those accross the pond..

The recent rally is fundamentally driven, rather than speculatively driven, the analysts said

"The markets have not fully appreciated the synchronised nature of global growth and the reduced downside risks from China," Goldman added.

"In essence, we now think global growth has more room to run and copper will benefit from the synchronised pickup in world economic activity."

More interesting developments in Spain. The government is apparently dependent on the Basques to get its budget through and surprise surprise the Basques are backing the Catalans. Some ana ysts whose job it is to worry, think Spain could go from EU golden boy to basket case in need of a bailout in short order.

Amazing RNSs QS99...gone too far for me ATMO...going to need many more fund raises before production...not far enough up the development curve for me...

I'll keep an eye on it...

Meanwhile, it is the copper in SOLG that appeals to me...gold is a bonus...

if you like SOLG, RP take a look at GGP, not without its rampers, but some fascinating RNSs recently

The big question for us about volatility is this...

If a recovery of VIX is triggered by a correction in equities, how will it affect ATYM...

The macro suggests that when the US sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold...

But the FTSE hasn't risen anything like the DOW/S&P, so will it fall less...?

And what correlation does ATYM have to the FTSE/AIM anyhow...?

Finally, will the 'special situation' aspects (rising copper; rapidly growing company) outweigh or at best neutralise any wider falls...?

Meanwhile, plenty of reasons to fear low volatility while the RSI on the S&P is at its highest in 62 years...

VILX rising...are cracks appearing in the 3 US markets...?

hxxp://uk.businessinsider.com/dangerous-low-volatility-inciting-financial-crisis-flashbacks-2017-9?r=US&IR=T

VILX up 8% so far today...very volatile...unlike the market...so far...

Meanwhile upped my SOLG another 50% today...

DYOR and AIMHO as usual...

#shakey, payable Copper is about 96% of the total made, and Q3/4 AISC will be under $2.00/lb so our margin is c $1.10 now.. to hit our annual guide of $1.95-2.10..

#Sithuk, the accumulated losses @ Q2 were EUR 95M, so we won't be paying any corporation tax for 2017 and 2018..?

Throwing off cash at these copper prices. Isn't this a $1 margin now?

Q3 production of ~10,500 tonnes of copper (42,000tpa/92.4 million lbs) equates to a profit of circa $92,000,000 dollars a year before other costs and taxation etc doesn't it? Even if we take quoted figure of 36,000tpa of CU that's still $79,000,000.

Not sure, Reba.
Last week when I bought two parcels within five minutes of 5,000 and 4,500 respectively, they both appeared as sells and one had OK beside it.
I’ve never understood the descriptions and delineation of trades and probably never will.
