07/4/2017 10:24 | I'm told there are II's looking to buy in bulk, not that I can see much evidence for that. If they want shares, why don't they just buy in the market like the rest of us. Time the share price started to move higher. | waterloo01
07/4/2017 10:01 | Eric: Any chance of adding a silver chart as well? There is one on the WTI thread if that helps. (Although it is 24 hour and I think we need a 60 day chart) SBT PS - Anyone who thinks that keeping a mine going at 100% is easy take a look at WTI's update yesterday. | superbobtaylor
07/4/2017 09:39 | #Erric, is there a problem with the embedded chart..? it doesn't seem to be tracking the daily volumes today/yesterday..? Q1-2017 data next week..?, mid April is going to be very nice, we've seen already that plant efficiencies are up, recoveries up, grades/blend up to 0.52%.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
07/4/2017 09:30 | Makes you wonder what the share price would be without Mr 5K. Thought there might be some follow through this morning then I remembered that this is ATYM. | husbod
07/4/2017 08:42 | Early start with a double smash from Mr 5K | shortarm
07/4/2017 08:03 | saintb, Thanks for that I had not considered B&B of ISA's | acamas
07/4/2017 07:45 | I see the silver price has shot up overnight after US airstrikes on Syria no doubt. This will do our silver production no harm as we have seen from yesterday's RNS. I think the silver price has plenty of room for further gains in the coming months. Hopefully we should see some adjusted Analysts coverage after yesterday's results, which should help generate some buying interest. I'm with you RP I will be very surprised indeed if this retraces to the 120s again.... | iankn73
06/4/2017 20:51 | It's starting to come together now waterloo01...! with plenty more to come next week or 2... | laurence llewelyn binliner
06/4/2017 20:17 | 'Most upside in the sector' according to one broker note and another says timing in restart of mine may 'prove fortuitous for investors'. canaccord up target to £2.10 | waterloo01
06/4/2017 18:43 | Acamas. Possibly the sales you see are all part of Bed and Isa transactions, rather than single instructions. I did an ISA Switch today, sold at 140p and re-purchased in the ISA at 142.25p. Because the buy was close to the bid price it showed as a sell. | saintb
06/4/2017 18:28 | Fair enough poleaxe but talking negatively, when you admit your strategy, amounts to deramping mate... Whatever I stated before, my target price is not the same any more because I've made a goodly gain out of trading these in the last few months. I did indeed sell 27,000+ at over 160, leaving me with 75,000 overall (against a long term target of 50,000 in my ISA), but I built that back up again to 115,000 in the last couple of weeks with buys down to 127 as you have seen from the posts... So I'm not now letting on my target for selling down to 50,000 because these results are so good; the Q1 report must be imminent; copper is looking strong; and most important, Scargs is on a case of champagne for mentioning ATYM to me almost 4 years ago, which I will deliver when I have doubled my money and sold half (leaving me with the 50,000)... Hope this makes sense... Meanwhile, I firmly predict you will not see 120p mate! AIMHO as usual...GLA | rougepierre
06/4/2017 18:16 | Well six trades of 5k today that failed to depress the market. More sales than buys does that mean a large buy order is still being filled in the background? So why no takers for your sale poleaxe? | acamas
06/4/2017 17:58 | rp - you posted earlier that you were going to sell half your holding when the price reached 160, i just decided to sell some before the share price reached that figure and i may buy some back in the 120's. Shakey i was down at Aldi's ( all i can afford )doing my shopping, when i returned home i tried to sell 7k but there were no takers, so much for the buying. | poleaxe
06/4/2017 17:32 | Very happy with results and has been mentioned looking forward to Q1 results which are just around the corner. Keep the faith all..... :-) | iankn73
06/4/2017 17:23 | Thanks Erric...you've got class. And thanks for all your efforts in setting up and maintaining/managing this board. (Er could you just get rid of pillocks...sorry poleaxe...;-) I have never lost faith but then its been easier for me than some of you loyal folk. And even for me its been hard at times.... Going to drink a lot of gin tonight to celebrate... Onwards and upwards...AIMHO as usual... | rougepierre
06/4/2017 17:16 | By comparison, KAZ's debt to earnings is 5x based on last figures (620m earnings and 3bn debt) and our debt carries no interest! Good to hear the 15.9m isn't payable. It would be worth Astor changing some other terms (marketing agreement?) in return for earlier payment. | waterloo01
06/4/2017 16:57 | #waterloo01, exactly, and the achieved Copper price on sales is over market price too, by $0.04c due to our increasing plant efficiency reducing Sb/As impurities, and increasing credits for the Silver content.. Solid results and a scratch FY2016, better than predicted, before the tax credit. 2016 Q4 gave us 0.52% Copper, way ahead of the original 0.45% (+13% efficiency improvement) $15M EBITDA on $2.25 average Copper.., Q1 results are going to be even stronger next week or 2.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
06/4/2017 16:50 | Fair points Acamas. I'm putting this down as a good day and I'm pleased that it has also been a very good day for fellow holders with even larger shareholdings. Red Peter is now far too modest to say it himself so I'll just say Congratulations to him. | erric
06/4/2017 16:48 | Looking forward to some flash notes. All rather good to see. Solid management focusing on getting costs down further and expanding at a sustainable pace. At today's prices ($2.65) and with costs around $1.90 they should be throwing off around $70m EBITA, so Debt (Astor) less than 1x earnings. | waterloo01
06/4/2017 16:33 | poleaxe, What is your agenda here? News out shares up and holding with the prospect of a full year of motivational news and you read the signs as bearish. Just what are you seeing today to justify your last post? | acamas
06/4/2017 16:32 | I can't see any rationale for selling with the Q1 results around the corner. Everyone knows they are going to be a step up from today and give the first firm projection of full year cash flow. SBT | superbobtaylor
06/4/2017 16:22 | Convenient that you pop up in the afternoon when there indeed has been limited buying. Where were you this morning poleaxe when there was a lot of buying? I mean you can see that the share price is up around 7% can't you?? | shakeypremis
06/4/2017 16:18 | Does not look like anyone is buying the news, back to the 120's. | poleaxe
06/4/2017 14:14 | Possibly CuF but you can't deny that it is illustrative of the way they are thinking/the road they intend to go down. | husbod
06/4/2017 13:54 | Clearly the expansion plans announced to date amounts to petty cash so your statement is pure speculation IMHO . . . | cufes2 |
