Bringing buyers and sellers together sounds very civilised, as if they both agree a price and happily shake hands. Whereas, I suppose that it can also include, one buyer picking several million shares at what they consider to be a very good price and a hundred sellers who sell up, vowing never to touch this steaming pile of sh!te again.
As such you are correct, that they bring the buyers and sellers together; but not necessarily to make everyone happy. Hence my last sentence. The commissions would be good though.

I thought the MM's role is to bring buyers and sellers together and create a market in the shares. The more successful they become at this the more money they make via commissions.

Acamas,” We desperately need buyers to create momentum”. Well the buyers were there this morning, the share price went up rapidly until the momentum was lost. Similar to the rise after the Astor ruling 142p-158p and a few other occasions. You would think that the mm’s would be clued up to generating interest especially as the make money from the spread and they have shares coming out of their ears from this relentless ‘seller’.

Maybe they don't need the buyers as much as the rest of us do?

As frustrating as it is Acamas, the BOD gets on with the building of the company, and the market price is controlled by the amount of buyers vs sellers, these are not necessarily connected, and as you will know this is why some stocks are undervalued or overvalued..

Value creation is what our BOD are doing, this really only begun when the mills started turning a year ago, but once we've demonstrated through results that they are increasing the value of the company, then people will take notice and the share price will follow..

The only losers here IMO will be the short term forced sellers, or those that might see better opportunities for their money elsewhere.. but sooner or later value will emerge through our share price here.., it just depends where you want to invest your money and your appetite for risk, personally, I'm relaxed here now having endured all the painful years through permitting and funding..

Copper $2.68/lb.. company value adding profits running @ $4.5M/month.. :o)

The message I am getting is how weak the buying side of this deal is for 25k of shares per week 100k per month I can squash price rises on this share. We desperately need buyers to create momentum

Interesting Sirmoori, it's not difficult to drip feed the market 5K shares a day to stamp on the share price if you hold enough.., but what is the motivation/logic behind it..?, is it simply a forced sellers broker clearing out his/her position, or is there something larger behind it..?

Sooner or later the seller / overhang will clear..

Mr 5K seems to be in no hurry today. Waiting for a better bid, perhaps. Still 1 vs 2 on L2, so the recovery is probably still fragile.

Ignoring the company fundamentals, the imminent news of the 1st full quarter numbers rolling at max capacity.., and just trading the technical chart, the share price should/could turn from the down trend about now @ 125/130p..?

Copper now @ $2.675/lb, and seems to have turned again, helping us along too..!

Would be nice! Someone said they spoke to AL. Not spoken for awhile but the comment about 'full judgement' doesn't make any sense as we have had the full judgement, as far as I'm aware.

What we don't know yet, and unless they have already begun talks with Astor (unlikely yet IMO), is over what period they will pay back the money. Unless we get better terms, they might stretch it to 3 years. That would tie in well with Touro coming online and then they can start paying serious dividends and still fund further growth.

That's the vision anyhow IMO.

It followed a similar pattern when it dropped to 80p (and loads bailed) just before it jumped to 150p in November. Hopefully the same will happen again, but from a higher base.

Having sold most of my holding at a loss some months back, keeping a small amount for nostalgia, I cannot share peoples optimism for the near to medium future. Every time this twitches up someone sells. Accumulatively, these have become big numbers over the past months. Look at today-the bid went from 124 to 125 and bang! the sells come in. It will be the same on any good news.

Believe me I want this dog to do well and in time it probably will but I doubt any of us will be share holders by then?

#Polaxe, no the current mining contractor on site who supplies/operates all the haulage/drilling eqpmt, we did a deal with them to carry forward €8M worth of invoices using the carrot of a 2nd project for them once we get Touro permitted.., can't recall their name but not Traf..

#RP, as long as the Q1 numbers come after April 6th that's fine by me.. :o)

2 Q1 Ops Report should come first...April 10 maybe

3 FY Should be no later than 24 April

4 I've bought another 5,000 at 127 from Italy....

Acamas - presumably the day of or the day after the first quarters results unless there is something else going on that could affect the situation.

They could certainly be offered options on some ridiculously favourable terms which is one of my pet bugbears.

The share price movement yesterday suggests to me that on the day we might get positive first quarter results combined with a very positive outlook and.......... an announcement of a placing or rights issue.

It's going to be an interesting RNS methinks.
