Do you know I sit here pondering and think to myself this share today should be worth a minimum of 180p or 6p in old money. ATYM is in a much much better position than EMED was with HAA holding the reins. We are about to move into profit, we have another string to our bow in Northern Spain and we sit at 142p or 04.73p old money. The logic of it seems daft to myself

Will be very good to get some updated C1 costs. Having to work on the pre-full capacity Q3 $1.97 is so out of date it's not funny. For Q1 I am hoping (and expecting) to see $1.80 or lower as quoted in the presentations.

2016 figures early April that most likely means before the 10th of that month. So under four weeks to go. Perhaps some speculative buying beforehand to raise the price of our shares? 170p is not that far away once we engage first gear

And Q4 I estimate our achieved price for copper was $2.40...8938m tonnes x 2205 * 0.43 = c$9m, i.e. c8 million Euros, giving us positive EBITDA for 2016 of 6.4 million Euros...

It would also mean we made a profit in Q4 of c3 million Euros, with a net loss for the year of c5 million Euros, despite reaching nameplate capacity only towards the end of the year...

AIMHO as usual...

Further to LLB's post...

I believe we will be closer to an average ACHIEVED price of $2.65 for Q1...

That means 10,000 x 2205 x 68 cents, giving almost $15m net cashflow, i.e. EBITDA...

And that's assuming no economies in the $1.97 costs from last quarter. Surely we'll be lower...

Annualised gives c£49 million, putting us on a prospective P/E of only 3.4 times at the current price...

At this rate we could pay off all the Astor debt this year...

Erric can you moderate yourself please - I am a sensitive human being who sold ANTO the day before the American election under the mistaken impression that the market would slump, at least short term (a la brexit)if Trump won so that I could buy back in at a lower price. Another logical but completely wrong decision which any reference to ANTO reminds me of!

I see the mms are being rushed off their feet again today.

An un-named company raised its annual dividend to 18.4 cents from its 2015 payout of 3.1 cents and topped the company's minimum payout of 35 percent of underlying net earnings per share.

"In the medium term the Group expects to see a steady shift from a market in balance to a slight deficit, leading to a further improvement in prices," it said.

"There are wild cards of course, but these are more likely to be positive for the copper price than negative."

with regards to Husbod's sensitivities.........

I don't want any news until April 07th RP.., my last ISA reload here going in now we are a producer and pure Copper play, not an unpermitted, unfinanced dreamer...!

We know that FY2016 will be small loss, or close to scratch, and we also know that we are now rolling at 10.75MTPA for Q1-2017..
We know we made 8900 Tonnes of Copper in Q4-2016 running @ 9.5MTPA..

So that's 10,000 Tonnes for Q1-2017 near as makes no difference with the plant efficiency improvements in hand.. $13-14M positive cash flows @ 0.60 margin/lb average.

Thanks for that Rich1e...didn't know they existed...

I already hold a big chunk of GPM from the same stable, so it was a no-brainer to buy GCL...opened up a position at 26.2375...hopefully before the next leg up...

Cheers!

Copper up this morning, for anyone wanting to invest in uranium with more diversification than rouge's suggestion, there's (GCL) Geiger Counter.

I read the IC last night and we have a small entry in the TIPS section making us a "buy" now that the judgement is known and we have no extra payments to make, we can get on with running the business or words to that effect

#waterloo01, I'm hoping to get my final ISA top up in before the FY2016 results and the Q1 2017 numbers are released mid April, it's going to be tight, but we know we are rolling at 10.75MTPA, so that's over the top end of expectations, with c10,000 Tonnes of Copper ...

Meanwhile, Cerro Verde in Peru have just gone on strike too, so that's 40KT/Month off the supply line as contagion hits and workers/unions all want a piece of that the others have got as forecasted.., it's all going to be about supply disruptions in 2017..

I've added over the last 24hrs. Copper looks firmer after some China wobbles, but with strikes in S America, regulatory issues in Indonesia and with the US talking again about infrastructure it will hopefully head North again. Meanwhile at ATYM we get back to the basics, producing copper.

I also assume that they will now accelerate any further drilling that's needed to push up both grades and LOM, not much reason now to hold back considering any spend is 'interest free'.

Lets see if we can remain blue till close of play. For all our good the buyers have to win this one ultimately
