Why are 35 and 49 year olds receiving the vaccine in Monty's article? They must have underlying conditions to be getting it that young.

T,

Forget the vaccine, AZ are one the the best Pharma's in the world, cash flow is improving sigificantly and all margins are increasing positively going by analyst forecasts out to 23.
Alexion deal is good business and will further improve margins with the global reach that AZ has to sell Alexion products.

Sorry off topic but hope you bought the Nasdaq dip after the non farm payroll figs, Nasdaq now turned positive. US Markets have turned after they have digested the employment data let's see if this holds until market close as FTSE futures up 50 pips. Adr conversion equates to circa 6887 atm

I agree, dollar is strengthening after Mr Powell's comments in the US re possible rising inflation and the 10 year t note is above 1.5% again. Goldman Sachs predict this could be 2% by year end which could mean rising interest rates and so affecting those businesses borrowing. However, gold is still on the decline so do you buy the dip particularly in the hard hit us techs now down 10% off their highs. Non farm payroll at 1.30, is the perfect storm brewing with a head and shoulders formed on the Nasdaq composite. If support holds, maybe worth buying into a Nasdaq 100 etf could see a bounce soon. Dyor but maybe things are turning

Russia just reported several cases of humans getting bird flu from chickens

This is a first

What we do not want is a Double or Twin Pandemic situation'

But

These are strange days indeed and humans acquiring diseases from animals and now birds

Makes buywell wonder if this might now happen

We have shrunk animal habitats for decades and zoonotic diseases are now rife and getting worse

We only have ourselves to blame imo --- Greed

Azn can charge for the vaccine from 1st JULY. By then most of UK adult population will have had a vaccine. Updated vaccines will be required as strains mutate and it is expected adults will require an annual vaccine booster. Azn are front runners in updating covid vaccines and it will be a big earner going forward.

can charge for vaccines from July this year, and as looks like booster / different vaccine to cover variants, will be a mega money generator. Can't see being at this share price for long and rerated. Will test 8000 in a short term view.
