26/2/2021 16:50 | Got just under £69. Seen some views looking for around £66.40-68.70 type area. Whether those represent something significant on TA level etc .. | essentialinvestor
26/2/2021 16:44 | 1 day chart looks like the one year lol | slinkyj
26/2/2021 16:36 | Nice close as well Ftse futures up 20 after close. I've added at these levels | triple witcher
26/2/2021 16:30 | Had a small amount. | essentialinvestor
26/2/2021 15:16 | Yes there is the break fee paid by Alexion in that eventuality, better for the longer term outlook if this deal completes. | essentialinvestor
26/2/2021 15:02 | I've pointed you in the right direction, now do your own research :-) | gregb
26/2/2021 14:59 | Tell me, I'm being lazy. | montyhedge

26/2/2021 14:48 | Will Alexion shareholders want more shares when bid announced Astra shares were 8200p, now looks going lower toward 6500p.So what happens? anyone any ideas. | montyhedge
26/2/2021 14:43 | Royal family out of touch, someone said Charles butler even squeezes toothpaste on his toothbrush for him, I would say out of touch. | montyhedge
26/2/2021 14:40 | 30% of care home workers and 20% NHS staff have refused being vaccinated so far. And The Queen last night had the audacity to call people who wouldn't have it as being selfish. These are the same people who have worked like heroes through the pandemic. Unbelievable :-( | philanderer
26/2/2021 14:13 | Well we are going to discover soon just how effective it is as lockdown restrictions ease. UK must have 7/8 million plus older people who have received the Oxford/AZN, under 1 million with a second vaccination so far. Demographic breakdown of hospital admissions data should show pretty quickly. How long will AZN sit on the Moderna stake I wonder?, selling down that a quick way to reduce net debt following the Alexion acquisition. | essentialinvestor
26/2/2021 13:59 | Montie, You still don't know the reason for the Oxford/Azn tie up, Lol! You still mocking 'the boys that bought at 9,200' | beckers2008
26/2/2021 13:17 | You could have Merkel's she won't take it, lol. | montyhedge
26/2/2021 11:52 | Phil, I would have graciously accepted the AZN vaccine yesterday, if it was offered. | essentialinvestor
26/2/2021 11:18 | AZN stake in Moderna now valued at over $5 Billion. One of the reason why I would back their judgement on Alexion, CEO's track record of value creation is exceptional. | essentialinvestor
26/2/2021 10:34 | If I might add, there are concerns that inflation is driving this current risk off attitude mainly in momentum stocks, however imho this is not the case as the past has shown us that previous large market sell off driven by inflation fears have seen gold prices rise, that’s not the case this time as gold is down today around 8 month lows. Conclusion for me is to buy this sell off in the markets via index tracking ETF’s as the road to recovery in the uk starts to take shape. Please dyor, and although a bit off subject I dont see this sell off deepening to a major market move | triple witcher
26/2/2021 10:13 | The general market factor is that the US treasury 10 year t note bond yield briefly rose above 1.6% earlier, putting it above the S & P's 500 dividend yield meaning that equity's have lost that fixed payment premium over bonds. Hence the risk off in general markets, however we still see a rise in AZN as the fall in Sterling is helping along with other factors. Markets are now steering to recover as bond yields start to dro wit the 10 year t note now at 1.44 | triple witcher
26/2/2021 09:36 | The weaker pound is helping this dollar earning stock, and from a technical view the open above 70 was significant. There's a battle between the bulls and the bears atm in this stock, my short term technical buy from 7050 before the div remains long | triple witcher
26/2/2021 08:59 | Weird, this falls when others are rising, and today, it risesNot complaining though as under water | nicd
26/2/2021 08:10 | Bond yields rising, inflation worries to the forefront and risk off atm particularly the over inflated US tech stocks. Flight to defensive stocks maybe ? | triple witcher
25/2/2021 19:35 | Not really - it's completely broken trend on any meaningful timeframe | davr0s
25/2/2021 16:54 | Fred, to be fair that was a unwarranted parabolic spike mid 2020. Taking the January 2020 AZN price gives a better idea. | essentialinvestor
25/2/2021 16:45 | Actually, the six month chart looks like a load of poo. | freddie ferret |
