22/12/2020 14:58 | You know very well it has mh with the lower effectiveness regime but still better than the flu vaccine and prevented 100% of serious cases with zero hospitalisations which is excellent. Some died in the Pfizer trials after receiving the vaccine. | bountyhunter
22/12/2020 13:35 | Pfizer Inc and Moderna Inc are testing their COVID-19 vaccines against the new fast-spreading version of the virus that has emerged in Britain. Moderna expects immunity from its vaccine to protect against the variants and is performing more tests in the coming weeks to confirm, the company said. | philanderer
22/12/2020 10:41 | Has it been tested on the over fifty five year olds ? | montyhedge
22/12/2020 10:13 | 6700p my target for Astra. | montyhedge
22/12/2020 08:47 | We need all three but the Astra vaccine will be the vaccine of choice given it's 5 times cheaper and on top of that logistically far easier and cheaper to distribute and store. Not many GPs have a deep freeze let alone at -80°C! | bountyhunter
22/12/2020 08:38 | UK probably will have to go for Moderna or Maybe Sputnik 5 if AZN recommend it perhaps UK does need a shot in the arm at the moment and no time to dwell/wait | buywell3
21/12/2020 20:49 | UK has vaccinated 500,000 people against Covid since December 8, Boris Johnson says as regulators face growing pressure to approve Oxford's jab in desperate race to speed up the roll-out By Sam Blanchard Senior Health Reporter For Mailonline 13:30 21 Dec 2020, updated 18:17 21 Dec 2020 | bountyhunter
21/12/2020 19:26 | Looks all set for a rise to me based on the long term chart. That will probably follow on from a big improvement in sentiment on approval of the Oxford vaccine likely early next week. With the Astra Oxford vaccine cheap and as easy to distribute as the flu vaccine Astra is set to become the most famous pharma in the world. | bountyhunter
21/12/2020 16:52 | Added acouple of lots today, would,d hope for a sentiment turn here. Someone recently referenced £73 from a TA perspective. | essentialinvestor

21/12/2020 14:13 | Yes, but only during the pandemic. Profits to follow whenever the pandemic is declared over and in the meantime AstraZeneca's global reputation will fly with the best global publicity possible. This vaccine or follow ups of it could be required for years to come as with the flu vaccine. Even excluding vaccine considerations longer term (which are clearly not at this stage priced in) Astra has an enviable pipeline. Re the vaccine a lot will depend on the details of the MHRA approval anticipated on 28 or 29 of December (see above). | bountyhunter
21/12/2020 14:04 | Non profit making for Astra, so good on them. | montyhedge

21/12/2020 13:59 | The FDA has it's own agenda, nothing to do with clinical trials, they stopped the Astra Oxford trial in the US just to ensure that Pfizer and Moderna got to the finish line with their expesive logistically problematic vaccines first. | bountyhunter
21/12/2020 11:14 | U.K. will pass, desperate, FDA will want more data, which is the right thing today. | montyhedge
21/12/2020 10:02 | On that basis why carry out clinical trials at all? | alphorn
21/12/2020 09:57 | Who cares about the FDA with this, so long as it's approved by the MHRA the rest of the world will soon follow regardless of the FDA who have US corporate profits in mind. | bountyhunter
21/12/2020 00:29 | Hi Phil, would hope for some relative outperformance by more defensive stocks on Monday. | essentialinvestor

20/12/2020 20:40 | If you believe the leaking of these vaccine prices was an accident, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. | donald t
