This from IG .
What happens if the stock I am trading is suspended/delisted?
The exchange will release information when a stock is suspended/delisted. If a stock is suspended/delisted, we would have to wait for the stock to become tradeable again – which is outside of IG’s control.
If you have an open position on a stock that delists and is in liquidation, we’ll close your position at a level of zero and typically open a new position – called a ‘proceeds line’ – on your behalf which is untradeable, has no price and brings no value to your account. Once the company confirms there is no return to shareholders, which can take years, we will close your proceeds line position at the level of zero.
However, we won’t start this procedure as soon as a company announces it is delisting. The stock status will first need to be reviewed by our corporate actions and risk departments. |
Explain to us all very clearly how a short wins when a company goes bankrupt and therefore suspended on the LSE. |
Shorts are the winners you thick buffoon |
Why would I want it to go bankrupt? There are no winners, not even shorts win in that situation.
If AML went electric, they would alienate all their petrol head customers in Europe and US. And probably not gain many sales in China because Chinese made electric models are better and cheaper, Chinese sales are DESTROYING western brands at just about everything.
You'll be right though, you've decided on one thing (well done!) and won't be budged.
It’s difficult to win an argument with a smart person, but it’s damn near impossible to win an argument with an idiot.
How much have you lost? ;) |
😂
"It is fool of holes like Swiss cheese." |
Asia wants electric and US/Europe wants combustion. This is the danger of the transition to electric, it almost halves your sales if you only cater for one side. AND it costs you 2bn quid to do so (In AML's own words).
Common sense aint so common it seems. |
Another evidence that Aston knows exactly what is doing by not going electric regardless of what so called experts claim on this board. How Porsche became latest victim of slowing electric car demandhTTps://inews.co.uk/news/business/how-porsche-became-latest-victim-of-slowing-electric-car-demand-3580342 |
do shut up you flat earth loon |
Aston simply refuses to play green bs narrative. .The cheese guy who claims here there are different reasons for it, is simply shorting and only appears here with hope he can influence others to sell it. His credibility went down long time ago. |
Aston do seem to have a superfluous position in an already crowded market. Ferrari, Lambo, Maserati, Bentley, Bugatti all at least as appealing as them. |
Yup, right through the bottom of the boat. I suspect there will be a consolidation before too long, just to make the price look more respectable, can't have AML as a penny share! |
If we wait long enough these will bottom out! |
There is something ridiculous like 8/9 times as many shares around now as there was when Stroll took over. That's not diluted, that's waterboarded. |
.
Racing to the bottom |
Tiiiiiiiimber. How big is the cash raise going to be, I wonder? It could be at 20p at this rate. Stroll must be fuming, love it! |
Placing is coming |
Most of my friends are either looking to go and invest overseas, Asia, middle east i.e U.A.E .. dubai etc -
Quite a few moving ( for how long who knows..)..
The UK is in for a rough ride and Brexit has been the icing on the cake -
You should see some of the Chinese brands coming out-
Not just BYD but many, many others- |
Looking at that update, you'd need to raise turnover by 250% at current margins to breakeven. Why is this still valued at £900 millions? Mass producing exquisite supposedly exclusive luxury cars, seems an unlikely business model. People with lots of money have lots of choice, and an Aston isn't quite so exclusive any more. |
I can't believe this share is over 20p |
UK PLC is in trouble-
Its actually quite scary how fast things are going -
Even with the AI market, it took one thing in Deepseek to disrupt the fanfare of stargate -
It will eventually come back but there are significant hurdles coming for the markets and the auto industry - |
Another trauma-ridden individual spouting nonsense because they think it makes them sound intelligent. Au contraire.
Trump tariffs of 25% will sink AML faster than AML can sink itself. And don't hit me with the UK is not in Europe BS, most of AML parts come from Mercedes, in Europe. US is now AML's largest market.
So sales in China have fallen off a cliff because China makes cheaper cars. Sales in Europe are declining due to Brexit Sales in the US could get hit really hard with Trump tariffs.
Where are the positives for AML? I actually can't find any. Valhalla is very late 2025, so that means 2026 in AML-speak.
2025 will be grim and the share price will react accordingly. |
oh god, its the flat earth loon |
