Ferrari and aston martin or not comparable in any way, other than the fact they both make cars, but so does Citroen etc etc etc.

You have to be able to make and sell cars profitably... What kind of car it is, is irrelevant.

I bought a Ferrari. Never watched F1 in my life, well not a full race. Boring.

Yes... I doubt anyone who owns a Ferrari, does so because they watched F1 on the telly.Porsche have done alright without one.

Thought experiments:
1- Would Ferrari have sold so many cars without ever entering F1?
2- Where else should AML advertise their products? Aston are hardly prime-time TV advert material.

I have a couple of wealthy friends who bought a racing team so that their kids can race. They don't live in Monaco and they mainly race in the UK on Sundays with the odd away day treat at the Ring or Spa.Sure they operate at a loss but they even have a few sponsors and use it to leverage their network opportunities for their other interests.I don't see any difference to this set up tbh

Once the Italians have sold down the remainder of their holding the brakes will be off the AML share price.
We all know it, it will tread water for a few more days, then they cannot sell any more.

Toto Wolf has it right, invest and forget about it for 3 years, it will treble at least.

Because it’s showing consolidation (faffing) at this level and not showing notable strength. I think there is insufficient force.
