Once the 200DMA gets nearer the 20 and 50 this will start making new lows again. This isn’t being ‘held’, it’s just naturally consolidating before it goes back into bear-mode.

Nice, share price held at 50p for Vettel to fill his boots. I've been investing for over 25 years and never seen a better potential turnaround story than this. A list of recent investors in AML: - Lawrence Stroll - multibillionaire from branding, high fashion company investing etc (Pierre Cardin, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors) - His consortium which you can read about here: (With a capital H, Plat ;) Https://drivetribe.com/p/force-indias-new-owners-a-consortium-Z8jmL-FQSmqB1GW1U-7V-g?iid=PdXKmwDFQK6fG92tWAkLDw - Toto Wolff, team principal/owner of Merc F1 team, worth £500M and loves picking up undervalued shares to have skin in the game. Holds £40M ish AML, just under 10% of his net worth. Be interesting to see where he ends up if Merc F1 is sold! - Seb Vettel, 4 times world champion F1 driver, shrewd as can be, obviously wanted in @ 50p, same as the placing price a few months ago. So they buy in, get all the bad news out the way around Covid times, keep perfectly quiet about DBX sales... no-one has a clue how many DBXs are sold Except everyone listed above. Https://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2020/10/09/aston-martin-brings-high-performance-dbx-here Kuala Lumpur have sold 11, wait time is 1 year. AML's new factory can produce up to 5000 DBXs per year, which means lead times from ordering to delivery are about a year. So I'd guess the DBX sales are closer to 5000 than 2000. Anything close to 5000 DBXs per year will double AML's car sales annually. btw....4000 DBX units @ 170k each is £680 Million turnover per annum. Then let's see what Moers (ex head of AMG, who quadrupled their profits in a few years) does with the rest of the Aston lineup too. Your choice: Follow the names above, or all the traders on internet BBs. Q3 results (and an update on DBX sales) are 12 November, 2020.

Any guesses what typical DBX customers would otherwise buy? RangeRs must be too cheap.

Plat, the DBX selling over 2500 will double sales compared to previous years. SUV market is high growth, as is the upper market... rich people are buying more expensive cars than ever.

Swiss, forget the dbx sales revenue on their own they mean jack, there's more moving parts than the dbx sales. The total sum will be all cars sold, over costs and taxes.Unless of course they requisitioned a second factory for free and built an additional 2000 cars for gratis also?On an fcf basis they can't look to break even until 2023

The company is on record for saying they have sold more than 2000 DBXs, and that was before the official launch anywhere in the world, so I think 2500 seems a fair guess. 2500 @ 170k each is 425 million turnover, in ONE quarter. Hence why I asked where you got your 400 million loss from. They also said Chins growth was up 11% in Q2, that's the biggest DBX market. So plucking 400million to of thin air seems a little crude. 2500 DBX sales will cause a positive share price rerating, anything above that and we'll be moving upwards of 10% in a day as no-one (or very few) saw it coming.
