21/4/2020 07:41 | Yes konradpuss I traded them a couple of times buying at around 270 and selling in the mid 300s. I have been watching them again and hoping that they keep falling below 300 so that I can buy in again and then wait for the outcome. | arthur_lame_stocks
21/4/2020 07:18 | Arthur, they cannot usually get away with that at an AGM. You might not like what you hear. Hope you made some dosh out of your stock. | konradpuss
20/4/2020 22:23 | I wouldn't have bothered going to the AGM myself, the management don't care about smaller shareholders. I tried contacting them a few times back when I held some and they never once bothered to reply. | arthur_lame_stocks
20/4/2020 20:50 | 7% sounds great to me. The case 'hand downs' seem to have dried up at the Court of Appeal. | konradpuss
20/4/2020 20:08 | I wont be going as attendance is forbidden - all we can do is vote by Proxy... It was in 1/4 RNS. Doubt we will get a statement either - one for the patient this.... Still, think of that cash accruing at 7%. | rjmahan
19/4/2020 20:36 | rj, according to the I.C. the AGM is this Friday. My stock is held by my broker in a nominee account and it takes yonks to get a letter out of them to attend any AGM's. I don't know if they will still hold it. If they do I think I might just go and take a read out of my last holdings statement from my broker. Will you, could you, might you go? | konradpuss
13/4/2020 20:34 | I wonder what these three Court of Appeal judges are doing? They are all no 'spring chickens' so they should be at home self-isolating. I am hoping they are 'pinging' the draft of their decision back to the Clerk of the Court as I type! Now good or bad let's have it! The losing side will put in an application to ask the Supreme Court to hear the points of appeal in any case as it costs shirt buttons in relation to the sums involved. | konradpuss
10/4/2020 18:14 | detector, not sure why however I cannot see anything about Assetco. What were they saying? | konradpuss
10/4/2020 12:46 | Personally I want a liquidation but I dont know what will happen. I tried asking(I forget who) on the board but got nothing. I might go to the AGM next time (if Corona has passed). Sorry I cant be more helpful. | rjmahan
02/4/2020 22:21 | Well the good news is that ANY of those three outcomes should be great, share price-wise, IF GT's appeal is rejected. Personally, I wouldn't mind Chris Mills using the capital to go into something else; few people have anything like as good a track record in realising value - and there'd be no better time. | value hound
02/4/2020 22:02 | rj, here is a question for you and for that matter all on the board. If and that is a big if, the appeal by Grant Thornton is rejected by the Court of Appeal. What happens with the company? Do you think Chris Mills liquidates or uses it for (God help us) an acquisition? I wonder how he is doing in the current turbulence? With such a small free float does he take it private? | konradpuss
01/4/2020 08:25 | Still a hand full of decisions coming out of the Court of Appeal. | konradpuss
24/3/2020 06:16 | rj, I am not sure you are right. I think 'hand downs' will continue, however I might be wrong. I think it is just trials that have been put on hold. So the three justices might have a bit of time on their hands to finish their judgement. It's good the cash is already paid into court. | konradpuss
23/3/2020 22:31 | Well no case for another month at least - still if we win we compound at 8% Dont think supreme court appeals are often heard. | rjmahan
21/3/2020 19:52 | Just did a review of the current state of play. Grant Thornton paid in the £34 million in March last year to Court. Interest has been accruing at 8% per annum. It is good to know that if it goes Assetco's way the money is there and not to be levered out of Grant Thornton or their insurers. Good to know in todays climate. Sorry to say if GT lose they will try an appeal to the Supreme Court. | konradpuss
18/3/2020 06:47 | Just checked the Court of Appeal listings. The list is shrinking. I guess as it is done in person they are just not scheduling. | konradpuss
15/3/2020 19:58 | It's like permafrost here! No share trade which is great. The greedy market makers wind down the price on no volume. I have seen cases take six months to be 'handed down' after the hearing. I hope it is three! | konradpuss
03/3/2020 20:08 | A retrial more like! I am following the Court of Appeal listings for the 'hand down' every day - nothing yet. It is usually two to three months but can be longer....... | konradpuss
25/2/2020 21:56 | Case dismissed! | velocytongo
25/2/2020 21:30 | Hold on, I am not sure you are right. What happens if one of the three judges or even all of them get it. They are all old - these folk are the most at risk! | konradpuss
25/2/2020 20:54 | This must be the only stock I own with no Coronavirus risk! | velocytongo
25/2/2020 20:23 | rj, my view is that usually it takes between two and three months for a decision of this court. It was a long and complicated judgement so think three months so mid April.I have seen them take six months - very unusual mind. Not much stock to buy if you wanted to increase your position, also not as cheap as it was. | konradpuss
22/2/2020 20:52 | Hi Konrad thanks for this. This is the page? Not something I thought of... | rjmahan |
