I am out for now till things become clearer next week, but if i was a betting man my money would be on SEACOR taking ASSETCO over and not ARCAPITA for obvious reasons. "SEACOR Response has been providing emergency oil spill and related services to the BTC pipeline in Georgia since 2004 and we are delighted to be able to expand our operations in the country to include fire fighting," said Neil Challis, President of SEACOR Response. The contract will involve SEACOR Response providing trained personnel to operate first response fire fighting equipment for potential incidents along the pipelines. No as im far as im aware they dont release an RNS each time an offer is made, look at the previous offer that was rejected before dilution..that was not released in an RNS straightaway. I've never seen a company release an RNS each time an offer has been made, its always later after the offer has been rejected.

surely an offer is price sensative so must be informed it does not have to be accepted not all bids are accepted as some are hostile. the requirenment is to inform the market of any offer ?? so therefore there has definately not been an offer?

think one offer initially, then some other parties might come out of the woodwork

warwick there might of already been an offer, wedont know they wont release the RNS until the offer is accepted. Takeovers have always worked like that, when the RNS is released the MMs will move the share price to the offer price instantly.

yes thats the dilema for all on here it looks to be a bit of a coin toss now? will a bidder come in at the last minute? surely if more than one bidder someone would have broken away from the pack and made an offer? i am not so sure there are as many interested parties as some on here think?

Found this article from June, at the bottom it states about an investor seeing a placement at 1p a share if a takeover does not happen..I know its old but just trying to estimate what the placement price would be if dilution does occur. http://www.cityam.com/news-and-analysis/new-bidder-enters-race-assetco

Court case next Thursday - I think it is make or break time - lets see if Tudor Davies has been stringing us all along to line his own pockets, or if he is worth his ridiculous remuneration - over to you Tudor !!!!!!!!!!!

Caledonian yes but many punters were sucked in yesterday so MM's will love making them sweat and see how many panic and feel they made a big mistake jumping on this volatile little share with its very high stakes.
