01/10/2018 21:16 | Anyone who has ever done a corporate or banking transaction will know that unless there is a necessity to complete by a certain date that it is highly likely that timescales slip to ensure accuracy and diligence Shareholders hoping for a news item that brings them potentially a multiple of the current share price should be capable of being patient and flexible If you start moaning the day after the end of the quarter then I suggest you sell up | ![]() romeoandjuliet
01/10/2018 19:42 | Agreed CS. I've backed this board more than once on this thread as well as moaned like heck for them missing previous timelines, but when they release a RNS only a few weeks ago detailing specific timelines of weeks for its arrival, just how they can miss them is beyond me. I have great faith in this company, its BoD's and especially our assets, but timekeeping is most definitely not one of their strengths & they, the BoD's are slowly destroying their well earned credibility by continually missing their own given timescales. Lets just hope there's a bloody good reason for missing this one. ==================== August 10th 2018: Bankable Feasibility Study Update: Asiamet is pleased to advise that the Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) for the Beruang Kanan Main (BKM) Copper project located in central Kalimantan, Indonesia is nearing completion and is expected to be finalised and delivered by the current quarter. 29/9/2018 18:42 | HB and MT - Thanks for the reassurance. I have only held stock for a month or 2 and am just commenting on what I see in the interim results. The longer-term perspective may be much more positive as you suggest! What I saw was net cash at 30 June of $3.2m ie cash + receivables less current liabilities. Expenses for the prior 6 months ran to $5.8m ie close to $1m a month which by my calculation if exploration costs continued at a similar level over the last 3 months leaves minimal cash. That combined with recent weak communication causes some concern to me. I can't argue though with the potential or asset base which is very strong. | ![]() zeusfurla
29/9/2018 17:56 | Zues - weak bargaining position? Any company that can raise in 2018 more than its 2015 market cap via a II placing at a 1,100% premium to its 2015 share price may be called many things but having a weak bargaining position is with respect probably not one of them! | ![]() mount teide
29/9/2018 14:53 | Cash at 30th June was $4M. I reckon the company has sufficient cash until next April so, barring exceptionals, they will need to think about cash by next Feb. However, I am confident some kind of financing package will have been arranged for BKM well before that and that it will include the requirement for forward cashflow for another year. Exciting times. | ![]() horneblower
29/9/2018 14:33 | My concern is more to do with lack of cash (as well as lack of planning)- there can't be much cash left - and the weak bargaining position that puts the Board in when trying to raise funds now. I think the funding side is why there is a delay more than anything. I remain a holder for the medium-term but need reassured that the Board is capable of delivering on this valuable set of assets. | ![]() zeusfurla

29/9/2018 13:16 | shareideas - true, but once management start giving dates or deadlines that are not subsequently met it can create mistrust in anything else they say. How would you view someone at work who did that? Not that I am a disbeliever, I'm just saying ;o) | ![]() charles clore
29/9/2018 11:31 | Shareholders push management teams for timelines which are often a best guess and are rarely totally in managements control. Agree management teams should err on the side of caution, but the real world doesn't really operate to a month end, quarter end, or year end calendar. In the grand scheme of things when you have multi year concessions being a few days makes no material difference, so longer term shareholders should relax | ![]() shareideas1
29/9/2018 11:10 | Never ever ever ever promise a date/time that you can't deliver or believe you might be able to deliver. Only promise a certainty or be vague. When will AIM companies learn? | ![]() pyglet
29/9/2018 05:55 | HB - I have never known ARS to release any news on a weekend! Whilst probably not material it is another date missed by the Team which has become a predictable trend now. | ![]() adorling
