As if further proof were needed that markets rarely act rationally - Trump announces a further $200bn of tariffs on Chinese imports after the market closed last night and copper responds by moving up 4% today.

I wonder what is supporting the share price today, its having the living sxxt sold out of it yet again but we are neutral. Copper 6 cents up as I write despite todays news.

The best way to address the seller is to put out a stonking BFS announcement, get a couple of high volume days and allow the sellers to get out and bring in new buyers/ holders.
I’m assume the BFS will be back end of next week or the week after otherwise TM/PB will start to look a bit silly.
Final drill updates on Beutong and whatever is planned at BKZ etc will be helpful in October to keep the train moving whilst we wait 3-4 months for BKM financing/ JV.
BKM financing is the big deal as it will totally underpin the shareprice at a higher level whilst allowing Beutong to be developed in 2019 and moved up the curve whilst BKM mine build occurs in parallel.
Any other stuff on KSK will be a bonus but the board need to get BKM over the line as a financed project.
What will be interesting is whether the BFS identifies efficiencies that drive down the production cost to withstand greater copper price shocks.

Question for you snickerdog, was the million that was dumped yesterday from the same.... in inverted commas... friendly seller?Million sells seem to be becoming a regular feature on Asiamet which defies all logic unless it was another margin call, have you any way of finding out?Many thanks.
