23/1/2023 19:53 | Good evening Mr b"should declare a slight interest in trt's 4500 possibility"His possibility is based on diddly squat, unlike our resident guru.Think I'll start - at this rate can see £51 coming, got to be in it to win it, buy the dips, etc etc etc etc etc :) | ![]() disc0dave45
20/1/2023 13:57 | I should declare a slight interest in trt's 4500 possibility. I have previously suggested a possible drop to fill the gap at 4550 so 4500 would do the trick. To fill the gap the share price would have to break through the 23.6 Fib, previous support at 4700 and the 38.2% Fib. At this time there is no indication that these supports are about to be broken. 19/1/2023 15:19 | Good day disc0 SP down to 5000 which is the the low of the horizontal range. It has been a good support zone previously so all being well it will hold again. If it fails to do so the 23.6% Fib at 4858 which also coincides with Median Line of the Schiff Pitchfork is the likely next support. AHT DAILY | ![]() bracke
19/1/2023 14:32 | Good day Mr bYep no surprise it's fallen back again following the drop across the pond.Have a good day | ![]() disc0dave45
18/1/2023 18:29 | Good day disco The share price dropped back from the high but managed to close at 5120 but..... the US indices are having a major retrace which if they hold to the close will make it 'challenging' for the share price to hold above 5100 tomorrow. | ![]() bracke
18/1/2023 16:37 | Good day Mr b"AHT share price having another try to close above 5100."Hopefully the fourth time close above £51 over the past few months will see the back of it :)Despite the small drop in CPI the doomsayers are out quoting BoE to raise 0.5%, the FED possibly 0.25%, let's see. From some defensive stocks I'm holding it does look like there may be some shift back to growth stocks......can't keep up lol. | ![]() disc0dave45
18/1/2023 13:22 | Good day rescuer Fenners posted on the CLON thread yesterday. He's a thorn in the side of the PET/CLON fraternity. He tells it as it is which is not welcomed by many on those threads. AHT share price having another try to close above 5100. | ![]() bracke
18/1/2023 11:32 | morning Ashteaders - hope you all had a fun and enjoyable festive season. anyone heard from Fenners recently.. very unusual for him to be so quiet. see the AHT price still beating gravity.. hope you all have a fruitful trading year. | ![]() rescuer
18/1/2023 07:52 | The rate of inflation fell for the second consecutive month in December raising fresh hopes that the worst of the cost of living crisis may soon be over. The Consumer Prices Index (CPI), the headline measure of inflation, dipped to 10.5% last month from 10.7pc in November, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS.) | ![]() perfido
15/1/2023 22:12 | Hi disco, You’re right, I misread the website: Nevertheless the question whether the government are playing for time still stands… My expectation is CPI down from 10.7%, and for offers to settle wage increases on a lower basis than demanded so far.. . | ![]() perfido
15/1/2023 20:43 | Hi Perfido It's my understanding that UK CPI data will be released Wednesday!.Some say up (11.5%) some say down (10.6%). Let's hope it's the latter :) | ![]() disc0dave45
15/1/2023 20:24 | The latest UK inflation figures are due for release tomorrow. It may be the case that the various exorbitant pay claims have not been addressed so far in the hope that the latest inflation figure will be substantially lower than the figures bandied about by the claimants to date and will lower expectations. This may allow a more realistic discussion, and boost the market further?? Here’s hoping…. , . | ![]() perfido
13/1/2023 15:40 | Good day disc0 I mentioned the market taking fright previously. It would have to be something massive to send the S&P 500 to 3000. "Don’t believe it’s so binary - the FED or the market." ==================== Maybe but the market is running the show so far or should that be front running? Next FOMC Meeting - January 31-February 1. | ![]() bracke
13/1/2023 14:29 | Good day Mr bSome analysts (Morgan Stanley for one) have forecast that the S&P will fall to 3000......its all complete guesswork and nobody knows. Personally can't see the S&P falling another 25%, that assumes all earnings will fall back to pre covid levels (4 years growth negated). IMO the worst is behind us and that's why I'm building up my PF with undervalued (I hope!) stocks.Don't believe it's so binary - the FED or the market.Apparently given todays UK GDP numbers we aren't now going into a recession. Come next week no doubt we will be again.....it's all noise. | ![]() disc0dave45
13/1/2023 13:24 | Following the US CPI data the markets are pricing in a 0.25% rate increase at the next FED meeting and are not concerned if the rate goes above 5%. The expectation is for the S&P 500 to retrace from yesterdays rise down to 3850-3900 and then rise on to 4300. Such a scenario will not aid the FED's aim of bringing inflation down to 2% or even 3%. This begs the question 'What are you going to do about it Mr Powell?'. The FED could deal with the situation by tightening financial conditions other than by interest rate rises. The ball is well and truly in the FED's court. You may be thinking 'bracke's got his anorak on again' but the FED action/no action will affect the AHT share price The FED or The Market? | ![]() bracke
