17/1/2019 13:45 | Good day ian It's operating in a 1850-1900 range. I can't help but think it's being day traded. "In the meantime gaps? Too many to mention.. is there such a thing as a stale gap?" ==================== The upside gaps are filled apart from todays. The downside gaps remain unfilled but I would not refer to them as 'stale'. They remain common gaps until the share price breaks above 1900 preferably with a good slug of volume. | bracke
17/1/2019 10:30 | Down 50, Up 50, Down 50, Up 50 etc, etc. Who's messing with 'precious'? | bracke
16/1/2019 18:20 | Thanks bracke, fair point | ianwwwhite
16/1/2019 18:15 | ian It's only 6.5 p a share and the possibility is that the share price will drop by a similar amount. Take the money and run. | bracke
16/1/2019 18:07 | EssentialInvestor Congratulations on your profit, but did you miss out on the dividend - AHT goes ex-div tomorrow? | ianwwwhite
16/1/2019 17:15 | Sold out before the close. £3 a share gain over a few weeks, good luck to those holding. | essentialinvestor
16/1/2019 17:13 | Whether it will stay priced in is another matter. It depends on the final Brexit outcome. AHT following the DOW. | bracke
16/1/2019 17:06 | I guess it's all so well telegraphed that it's priced in. Even Aviva had a very good day... | uppompeii
16/1/2019 16:58 | Good day uppompeii Indeed it is. Perverse but the market can 'reason it'........for now. It's not the first time the market has reacted to news/event totally opposite to that expected. It illustrates the risk of front running news in anticipation to the market reaction. I learned that lesson many years ago. | bracke
16/1/2019 16:57 | Closed at a new recent high, 1908p (+13p), with substantial volume around 2.9 mill, after a sticky start, an encouraging performance today IMHO. | ianwwwhite
16/1/2019 16:47 | £/$ is up on the month even after yesterday bracke... | uppompeii
16/1/2019 16:29 | can it hold above 1,900? | mfhmfh
16/1/2019 09:17 | Ex div tomorrow. URI full year results on the horizon. | broadwood
16/1/2019 09:06 | update from SOM today suggests US construction is strong. | mfhmfh
15/1/2019 10:59 | Good day fenners I totally agree. They are democratic only when it suits them. They sicken me!! | bracke
15/1/2019 09:30 | Turned Bloomberg off this morning - the whole day listening to anti-democratic politicians saying that since 300 of them do not want any Brexit deal then 17m people must be wrong winds me up. | fenners66
14/1/2019 19:20 | 25 comes after 20!Read an article on the Hargreaves Landsdown website which was on probabilities and opinion polls etc. What struck me was the chances of a no deal tomorrow and leave vote in July 2016 were the same - and we all know what happened!. | discodave4
14/1/2019 10:59 | But what about £25? Another gap this morning. EDIT If as seems likely 'The Deal' vote is lost tomorrow the £ is likely to plunge. A low £ against the $ should be positive for the share price so the probability is for a spike at least. | bracke
13/1/2019 17:44 | "If the DOW continues the rise then £20."No comment! :) | discodave4
13/1/2019 14:34 | Thanks for your thoughts Bracke. | lairddavid
12/1/2019 12:09 | But will it go back to £17 to fill the gaps first? | lairddavid
11/1/2019 18:02 | Disco From Post 56261 "I think it will do well to get back to £20." ==================== But £25 would bring a reward.....of sorts. | bracke |
