06/6/2014 16:10 | Good grief, I see that bracke has started another competition 'Whats My Line?' (For the younger readers this was a popular game show broadcast between 1950-1967) | ianwwwhite
06/6/2014 16:07 | Just come in from a busy morning on a course (sun great/golf not so bright) to find that there is an appetite for another Mars Bar competition... splendid! To recap, the competition is to predict the closing price of AHT on 16th June, prior to announcement of results on 17th June. The winner will receive a Mars Bar to share with the film star of their choice, and the competition entries must be received by 10th June. I will provide the Mars Bar, you do have to find your own film star however! Entries received to date are: bracke 990 Jimi Hendrix 982 fenners66 920 ianwwwhite 970 Anyone else is welcome to join in, please cut and paste this post, and add your own entry. Good luck all! | ianwwwhite

06/6/2014 12:30 | ian If I must - 990 Disco My view is based on the 3 month chart above. 920 and 940 are the top of the upward retraces following the drop from 990. The next target would be to fill the gap which occurred from 04 April to 07 April and if it gets to that level it is likely to attempt a break above 990. I need to swot up on pasting charts. No secrets, well none I will post on here! fenners This name changing business is highly irregular. Are you a secret agent? | ![]() bracke
06/6/2014 12:17 | I must note that some while back we were questioning the idea that URI should borrow money to buy back shares (if memory serves me correct), the share price then was (?) below $30 I think (guessing here as it was some time back). Look at the share price now though $106 ! | ![]() fenners66
06/6/2014 10:10 | Of course waiting until the 10th is more sensible , but I got 920 first.... | ![]() fenners66
06/6/2014 10:09 | Back in the UK so back as Fenners. I would put my estimate in as 920 | ![]() fenners66
06/6/2014 08:17 | So...I have seen the future and the share price will be 982 at close of business on 16th | jimi hendrix
05/6/2014 21:43 | The pivot point r1 was 929, see what your saying though from the 3 month chart (I think).......after 920, 940, is it 950-960 then 980?. Any chance you can paste your chart so I can see? no probs if can't or sooner not (may give your secrets away!).Apologies for asking all the time, thanks.DD | ![]() discodave4
05/6/2014 21:17 | Whoa! Just got in and amazed to see we have finished above 900p - well done uppompeii! Disco, happy to run the Mars Bar competition again, but be warned, last time Jimi H and friends spirited the price down to a pretty spooky level! Nevertheless, if anyone is interested in a re-run I am prepared to put up a Mar Bar as a prize to be shared with the film star of your choice, to the person who's prediction is closest to the price of AHT at the close of business on 16th June, prior to announcement of results on 17th June. Closing date would be 10th June, bracke, would you care to start us off? | ianwwwhite
05/6/2014 20:25 | Disco I suggest 920 then 940. Look at the 3 month chart above, they are lower highs. | ![]() bracke
05/6/2014 20:18 | 929 next resistance? (that's the extent of my TA skills! haha).Not long for results, 17th June I believe.Feels like Mars time again!GLDD | ![]() discodave4

03/6/2014 10:36 | SP having a spot of both getting over 900. Perhaps uppompeii could inject another £55 million to help it over. | ![]() bracke
02/6/2014 21:43 | Fenners/IbroxHope having good hols. Didn't think you would panic......I'm not worthy haha.DD | ![]() discodave4
02/6/2014 19:56 | Disco, it's Fenners/Ibrox here, on holiday hence the other login. No I didn't panick, but then my next sell should be next year . If I had a crystal ball though I would have sold all at 980 and bought them back within 30 days ,alas my balls are not crystal! | ibrox
29/5/2014 20:23 | Thanks BrackeWould imagine no matter what strategy you set out, even if you stick to it, there will always be regrets........just some may be bigger than others. So long as I make more than inflation+BOE base rate every year then I shouldn't complain...........b | ![]() discodave4
29/5/2014 11:07 | Disco Yes it is difficult to hold when a good profit is at stake. It means you have to adopt a 'swing' trade system. ie. determine when you take the trade the level at which you will close it either in profit or loss and not before. An alternative is to trade as you have done and then re-enter. | ![]() bracke |
