16/5/2014 18:21 | My address is Red House All Along The Watchtower Third Stone from the Sun The Valleys of Neptune I will be sharing it with Oliver Reed, along with various beverages to celebrate my new "Guru" status!! | jimi hendrix
16/5/2014 18:04 | uppompeii I think you and fenners66 deserve an honorable mention, for long time it looked like you both had it sussed. For my own part looking at my 945 entry, I don't know what I was thinking, I think I may have pressed the wrong key whilst typing under the influence... | ianwwwhite
16/5/2014 17:58 | I tried and tried to hold it at 855, its cost me damn near £55 million. | ![]() uppompeii
16/5/2014 15:47 | CR that is really misleading mate. AHT is in mid-cycle bull market IMO for its products and growing like billio, so posting a 4 year chart saying long way down is silly isn't it. if it was on a forward p/e of 20+ in a falling market then I might agree. | ![]() qs9

16/5/2014 12:41 | Good day jimi Not short and disappointed. My expectation/hope was that the share price would reach 1000 and maybe a bit more at which point I was going to commence placing 3 month shorts but it let me down and failed to make it. I don't expect it to return to the highs anytime soon. It has performed a series of lower highs and now that 840 has broken it has performed a lower low. What remains of interest is have the major holders commenced selling yet. | ![]() bracke
16/5/2014 12:05 | Short yet bracke ?...You were keeping your powder dry for the pullback? ;-) | jimi hendrix
16/5/2014 12:03 | As has been posted the Daily SMA 200 at 761 should hopefully provide support but I remind you that there is a gap at 523. If the SMA 200 fails to support there are other supports prior to 523. Provided the wider market does not go for a 10% pullback as has been suggested it is unlikely to drop to 523 but the but remains. | ![]() bracke
16/5/2014 11:18 | Nah - it's safe in the 100. Currently 83rd in the ranking and above some of the Builders which are falling much faster (TPK and BDEV to name a couple). I say 'safe' with caution obviously but I'd be confident it won't drop. | ![]() funkmasterp12
16/5/2014 11:17 | Not sure the fundamentals have changed have they? There has been no "cautious" statements from AHT that I have seen. They are riding the economic cycle IMO very well and brokers have been upgrading left right and centre. This looks like specific institutional selling IMO, AHT should IMO be in great shape even when economic cycle turns IMO as debt will be much lower if not eliminated, chance to consolidate more market share etc etc, divi should then get hiked. If you are a trader then yes, short term pain as someone is offloading. If you are an investor then IMO a good opportunity. Same with OPAY IMO ..... | ![]() qs9
16/5/2014 11:15 | I would think if they reviewed it this week we would already be out. This would not happen to an established FTSE100 company. Reminds me of Derby County's last foray into the Premiership. :( | ![]() clarky5150
16/5/2014 11:06 | Gonna fall out of the FTSE100 if this keeps up imo. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
16/5/2014 11:03 | The annoying thing is watching the meteoric rise over the last 18 months and always thinking 'we must be near the top so I won't top up' only to concede and top up in the £9s. This is somewhat offset by the excitement of catching this just right and making big bucks later this year on the next push North. But when will the bloodbath end? | ![]() clarky5150
16/5/2014 11:03 | 750p looks nailed on imo CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
16/5/2014 10:31 | The 200 day SMA is around 761...so with luck that will provide some support from overbought levels of late.. | sailastra
16/5/2014 10:01 | Top sliced this morning.....that should move it upwards knowing my luck. Will buy back when this/the market has settled.DD | ![]() discodave4
16/5/2014 09:40 | Chart is not looking too good, anyone have an idea where this will find support? | dangreen86
16/5/2014 09:17 | Reminds me of the fall when the Nationsrent announcement was made :-( | jimi hendrix
16/5/2014 08:54 | The trouble with momentum stocks like AHT is that momentum is a two way street...we seem to be gathering pace in the wrong direction! Nevertheless I see no reason to alter my strategy of 'masterly inaction' which has paid off so handsomely in the past, whilst the fundamentals remain sound, so I personally continue to view this as a long term hold. In the meantime, looks like Jimi H has got the the Mars Bar competition wrapped up, unless something dramatic happens this afternoon.... | ianwwwhite
16/5/2014 08:44 | As for the tracker fund comment above - we mentioned that a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure it becomes self fulfilling. | ![]() fenners66 |
