If the company want to compensate shareholders it would be better to compensate shareholders who lost out because of the Slovenian Govt's tactics.
The company could invite shareholders who feel they have a case to produce evidence of their shareholding.
The company could then make a decision based on the evidence !

I don't envisage a mass trawl of historical share holdings.

I was involved with the RBS rights issue scandal and we were compensated eventually.

How else can you do it? Can you imagine the record keeping to keep track of every holder on every date going back 5, 10, 15 years? And then retrospectively adjusting the books to back-date income?

People who sold thought it was hopeless, people who bought thought it might not be. We're just punters in a big casino really.

once the main payout is realised the share price will be at a very different level to today, any compensation will be very welcome but the share price is where it is at. It would be interesting to know if we will receive money from the other wells "Going forward" or do we have to wait until the final outcome in April?

I think the wording of the RNS is :-
a ruse to ensure current shareholders don't sell
and
an enticement for others to buy.

The RNS refers to our legal case with the Slovenian Govt NOT the recent outcome with our joint venture partner.
The share out could be HUGE - £600 MILLION !

Latecomer to the party, 35K shares with an average price of 10.17p so 2/3 down. I'd be happy with 38p.

My fourteenth (and last) trance was at the beginning on this year
1,000,000 (in old money) £377
Share price was 3.7p in new money !

On this date I had accumulated 4,000,000 shares (40,000 in new money)
£15,178 !
My break even price was (is) 38p in new money !

Price 3.3p, market cap 7.1M so perhaps 230M shares issued. Nett receipts after costs from 1st 2 payments perhaps €1.5M at best. So any payout per share will be miniscule, I'm more hopeful for the effect on the share price

They seem pretty specific in their wording ie the record date itself is to be in the future so would presume as with divi's that means whoever is holding on that future date gets the same op to benefit.

90p in new money !

On this date I had accumulated 800,000 shares (8,000 in new money)
£11,730 !
My break even price was 147p in new money !

Long term suffering shareholders (e.g. me) should be compensated !

My fourth trance, which was just a couple of months after the third, was on January 2017
70,000 £1,758

250p in new money !

(n.b. the share price of my third trance was 149p !)
(n.b. volatile times !)

The 70,000 is now 700 (because of the 1 for 100 consolidation)
Value £23 !!

Andrew Dennon will do well out of it with 2M+ shares and 1.3M share options so plenty of incentive for him to want this

Parsons is paid £150K

Dennon £250K

Both have refused bonus payments until the company has more funds to pay them

The three non execs who drew a salary received £6,500 (J. Ainsworth now resigned) and £34,583 apiece went to M. Graham Wood and S. Birrell

Hardly excessive especially given all paid board members attended all 14 board meetings throughout the year so they're not just there for show

All in all they come out looking pretty good for aim directors

61,327 £889

The price was 149p in new money !
(n.b. the share price of my second trance was 200p !)

The 61,327 is now 613 (because of the 1 for 100 consolidation)

This is very good news. I can see a flood of buys coming in when this is setThe Company also announces that it is considering a distribution to qualifying shareholders on a future record date of an assignment to part of the proceeds which would be received by the Company in the event of successful monetary damages payment in relation to the Company's Energy Charter Treaty claim against the Republic of Slovenia. This would, if implemented, enfranchise qualifying shareholders with access to a portion of the damages proceeds being claimed which would not be exposed to future changes in the capital of the Company. It should be cautioned that in the event the Company is successful in its claim any amount actually received may be significantly lower than the full amount being claimed for.
