cc, if a shareholder vote is still to be done to get the jv finalised, surely there isn't enough time to complete by end aug? so it will be sep or later.

my position is far worse than many here because as a 'johnny-come-lately' my avg is around current levels, so i dont have the comfort of being well into profit already, so i would like to see events progress asap and the share price move up. however, i think mgmnt have lined things up nicely and i'm willing to wait for the story to unfold.

my main concern is the uptrend in gold price. if that continues, which i'm hoping it will shortly, after the recent hiatus ends, we should all be ok, especially if corporate developments (such as jv and then announcement of one-off divi) coincide with the next leg of the gold bull!

Aim does have significant inheritance tax benefits. But not planning to die but who knows.

They haven't , I mentioned it because I believe it does affect things. I think with the recent interviews and new development of Proccea potentially buying into to salinbas with some cash rather than services may add to the timeline.

As a matter of fact I am very chill and I do trust them - so I did aligned with them personally. I did follow Dr K and made much more with him.

1. BOD IS very able. MDVs share dealing actions show to me that he believed the deal would be signed long time ago and that he expected divi etc... and good share price performance
2. They all (JV partners) would like to do the deal
3. Despite CV19 deal could have been signed long ago if it was for the CV19 only (or other reasons given to us). All the important JV details were agreed and they stick to it. Terrain checked. Only the finishing paper work and signatures missing as far as I can read it. 9-10 months to do it !!! Paper.
4. Real reason is not presented to us IMO
5. eg they treat us like they best can in delivering the message of the delay reason across to us
6. in my childish manner I called it - treating us like the children -

all imho

Don't you think the board want to get this done ASAP? If they didn't then then the rationale you give would have some credence ie some of the excuses could be bull as you put it. However the board is exceptionally keen to get this deal done therefore the reasons are valid imho. I'm sure I must have misunderstood some of your comments and that your not implying that citing the unprecedented lockdown due to Cov19 is bull for the children or people wet behind the ears??

it is not up to Dr.K that the deal is not done. it is due to daily T politics - and JV partners can not openly speak about it. it is compleatly
1. unreasonable
2. unexplained

delay. that even an idiot could not make. there must be a strong enough reason.

we are given bull - holidays, CV19, auditors - all the standard bull for the small children :(

and that is what I do not like.

next to choose from:
- travel restrictions
- world trade regulations in flux
- momentaly unstable exchage rates
- changes in the legal framework
etc

These are just my opinions I don't know more than anyone else but if you have a couple weeks off it takes time to get back into stuff.

Biggles - I certainly would not be happy with the company if they missed the end of August deadline. They have had plenty of time to organise themselves for this event and citing holidays as an excuse for letting shareholders down just doesn't wash. Having said that, if there is something outside the company's control that would be a completely different matter.

I dont believe AAU are big enough to move from aim yet, to much management time involved, but I hope and believe that one day it will.

As for NS, it looks to me that he want, and is getting his cake and eating it, lauded for tipping a winner and encouraging selling so he can buy low.

He does make an interesting point at the end though and I wonder if his risk profile would change if we moved away from the Aim casino.
I have held the opinion for a while now as being a grown up company and not needing to tap shareholders anymore, the BoD should consider moving to the main list.
