14/9/2023 10:08 | Personally, I believe more in the existence of the Loch Ness Monster than the existence of a single large seller, but whatever gets you through the night. | ![]() jaf1948

14/9/2023 06:29 | Annamite Resources the Junior Copper-Gold Exploration Company operating in Laos has embarked on an essential infrastructure project to restore a deteriorating causeway west of Namthom Village within their Sokdee Project exploration area. This vital project not only addresses the pressing issue of erosion preventing access during monsoon but also prioritizes the safety of villagers and the exploration team. Despite the challenges posed by the wet season, Annamite’s commitment to this initiative remains unwavering. | ![]() shortarm
13/9/2023 17:05 | There's a big seller here 75% of the time it seems hence the low valuation. Would be good to know who is constantly feeding the market without a tr1 🤷a | ![]() soulsauce
13/9/2023 16:50 | Just a seller | ![]() bigglesbingham
13/9/2023 16:44 | Still seems to be some 'desperation' to get out at 2.7 considering we were 3p very recently? | ![]() shortarm

13/9/2023 12:25 | HMRC won't give answers about specific stocks, perhaps because a company might change its activity at some point, but owning assets overseas is not disqualifying. There's a paid service which will give opinions on any stock for a few pounds. I paid to check a few stocks I hold. I don't want to undermine their business by quoting their opinion on Ariana, but you can make an assumption based on the fact that a) I'm sufficiently interested to be aware of their service, and b) I'm active on this bulletin board. | zangdook
12/9/2023 19:49 | As i understand it no one will give you a categoric answer hiding behind the fact that legislation could change between now and the time of death. I was given fairly strong assurances, when i invested this years ago , that they would be eligible for Business Tax Relief and therefore could be used to avoid IHT. But law could change and the interpretation maybe wrong, so don't count on it. | ![]() plasybryn
12/9/2023 19:38 | Doubt you can ever be sure of a positive(YES) answer to that, in the end even if all requirements are met (and even finding out what they are is difficult enough) in the end it all comes down to the fickle decision of the tax authorities in each individual case. In short, it would be nice to think so but don't count on it. | ![]() thanksamillion
12/9/2023 19:10 | Some AIM company shares qualify for business property relief (BPR) if you have held them for a minimum of 2 years, and then no inheritance tax is due when they are sold after death. Do AAU shares qualify for BPR? I going to answer my own question by saying NO as Ariana's mines are overseas. Any thought on this. | ![]() t4j
12/9/2023 17:03 | Strongly intimated that dividend aims to be paid to us end 24/early 25 | ![]() bigglesbingham
12/9/2023 14:05 | With no loan being taken out from Tavsan and therefore no repayment period(which was only 1.1 years at gold 1250) and Kiziltepe still producing the approximate 13 million dollars to AAU will be available from Zenit. That being said I understand it is to be allocated to a bit of bubbly at the Christmas party. Have a good day :-) | ![]() shortarm
12/9/2023 13:03 | If dividends might be paid when Tavsan is producing does that mean that Zenit will pay AAU and AAU will pay us impoverished shareholders ?Or will AAU simply keep the Zenit dividend ? | ![]() backmarker
12/9/2023 12:58 | We're back to the 'elephant in the room' time. Ariana has a very good geologist and a very average CEO. With all the good news over the past few weeks, a dynamic CEO would have been making the most of it. We have a scientist who is methodical, thorough and reliable but not dynamic. Ariana will get there in the end but at a pace unlikely to enthuse the market in the near future. | ![]() jaf1948
12/9/2023 08:47 | i had an AAU divi experience Shortarm is right. as always. so i keep holding. and saying stupid and confused words salad | ![]() kaos3
12/9/2023 08:30 | All the talk from the company is about dividends when Tavsan is producing. I have seen no reason to disbelieve Kerim so far. | ![]() shortarm
12/9/2023 07:13 | i see this as follows capital gets the firm running 1st development and production - 75 pc gets sold .... for a free carry 2nd development ... by a degree larger .... all the cash from the first one gets consumed .... nothing for my self 3rd development ... all the cash from the first and the second gets used ... nothing for me 3rd starts producing .... i might get some cash or not as the co does not control anything 3rd project finances the first 100 pc owned and controlled production ... when should i load the shares i do not know ... i will just follow the rich and clever and connected... or maybe not because i want some cash back as i need it for a living | ![]() kaos3
11/9/2023 22:09 | Z - surely that would take all the fun out of it as well as the opportunity to bag a few at rock bottom prices. We are getting near the company's evolutionary tipping point where prices will gravitate higher and nothing will stop them. It will be exciting to watch and make up for all the disappointment in previous years (imho). | ![]() charles clore
11/9/2023 20:14 | bb - perhaps you'd like to ask the company's brokers who the seller is and make him an offer for the lot? ;-) | zangdook
11/9/2023 19:04 | Cheers for that. | ![]() thanksamillion

11/9/2023 16:09 | A tap on the head, the perfect remedy for water on the brain. Seriously tho, the resultant uptick leaves the share price in a pivot position, higher or lower? Suspect the next RNS or absence of one will decide. | ![]() thanksamillion |
