There is still a seller holding back any advance. The story still isn't resonating with many and the lack of stated timescales to value enhancing points undermines any interest. Understandable really. It's all well and good having £500m vision but shareholders need to understand the path, the route, and be given some flavour for how it will be achieved. Those aspect are all poorly defined and not presented in a way that stimulates shareholder interest imo

after the apliki failed ,,,

well, I agree with kaos that disputed territories and non-recognised "countries" should be treated with great caution. I also hold AAZ whose assets are complicated by the Azerbaijan / Armenia problems so I'm not 100% risk averse, but I shall continue to regard WTR's Kosovo adventure as another of Ariana's disposable side-stories, much like Apliki turned out to be.

Broker killing the market with the current spread. A good announcement and not a single share bought, sold or traded yet.

Well done Mentor. Someone on the team who deserves greater recognition imo. He acts and delivers. Whilst on Twitter the Co have posted Meet the Directors - first Michael and today William Payne. I know Mentor hasn't been made a director but he seems to be delivering and gives the impression he is on a mission to deliver growth and shareholder value. Kerim did well to bring him on board. I hope he gives him the encouragement and recognition he deserves.

After this morning's news, our portfolio is building very nicely.

With our decent cash pile and what we are producing at $2035 and silver $25 I'm expecting sparkling results and valuations here going forward.

3p will soon be history.

Sounds like kaos doesn't have any faith in management's ability to assess risk. I don't have a problem with Kosovo myself.

ok - to make it simple . google enter - mining in kosovo - and limit search to the last year ...

see the results. why is it so ...

after cca 15 years being a western province with superb mineralization

huge amount of big miners came and went. including newmont

Another potential mine, the DD clearly showed it would be a profitable functioning mine and worth pursuing....the potential for the future keeps building.

i am concerned about aau risk management btw. investing into a non existing state /for huge part of the world/, where 2 superpowers clash daily etc .... might be considered risky in my mind

going in while many western big companies and small ones exited ... despite superb geology

fox marble saga on aim is an example of what i am talking about

luckily i consider kosovo a side show for aau. more like a basis for expansion into other more stable states

Quite a while till production but the value of this project will rise meanwhile due to confirmation of approvals and volumes.

Avrupa CEO says........

" WTR is working on a new resource update, and we expect information later this quarter."

So another RNS by end June?

https://www.kosovo-info.com/doing-business-in-kosovo/?ampthere are always articles which can prove or disprove a point but spreading concentration away from one country derisks in my opinion.

Sounds like an excellent deal building on the £7m already invested. Increased resource to come from current 98000 ounces and 320000 ounces silver. The g/t gold is an excellent 4.8 g so the IRR should be well above the 15% states. Very nice progress in one of the tentacles and outside turkey to derisk.

Wow
45%. Not really the way to control inflation. Its just buying votes. We haven't reached quite that level of being blatantly obvious, but its getting there. I'll bet that Triple Lock will be less open for discussion, whatever the figures, as the next GE is approached. All us rich silver tory voters....
I wonder what the effect this will have on AAU costs, though I assume it may also erode the Lira/$ exchange rate

Agree with you Plasbryn as pretty much always, with the exception of the Gannt charts. That is only because the past ones weren't worth the paper they were (or weren't) written on. Look at the latest presentations which from memory implied Salinbas production from 2025. Didn't believe it at the time, let alone now. Just numbers plucked from the air.

New Chairman perhaps and Kerim as chief geologists or similar. But you could say we need to give Kerim time to deliver on his evolved strategy. Production mines funding research & development. Mariana Resources was in similar doldrums then shifted focus to Turkey and within a reasonable time the strategy paid off. Kerim has a number of potential irons in the fire, Salinbas, Hizzy, Leopard, Venus etc. its just not clear without a Gantt Chart what the expected timescales are which is frustrating for investors
