All to be expected given some of the recent posts.

Still within expected range for a repeat of the Oct 2018-2021 pattern.

Anomolous spikes like this occur all along the chart and dont last long.

If the share price stays at this level however I will need to reconsider.

Worth seriously noting though, that the mcap is twice the cash pile.. Are we seriously valuing everything we have, and in the ground at just £15m?

I don't think so.

Yes, we've hit a brick wall in certain areas, but still extracting gold, silver and copper with the first two at high prices. Sentiment is a strange thing and it's turned negative here for now.

When all the ducks are lined up in a row again we'll be off to the races, but currently this is a huge buying opportunity in my view.

Market Cap £29m. Well done Kerim. What was that growth in share price presentation slide you rabbit on about. Can't blame any weakness on the gold price. Lets get some Salinbas /Hizzy data to restore confidence asap

Last word, I'm putting this down to the elections so could be a few weeks of uncertainty here but either way we are as much a Turkish Company as a British one so either way it's not a disaster it just means things will start moving again.

The different pettigrew world affect is strong here. Be exceedingly careful, and never fall in love with a share, particularly an AIM penny share, where fortunes have been lost.

I'm still guessing that the market will not give Venus enough to cover the Apliki asking price. So stalemate.

It's worth having a listen to the Stockbox interview with Mark Fairbairn and newly listed Gmet as in the first few minutes they discuss the appetite for new exploration listings.
Kind of leaves you thinking what is the problem with Venus.

Unfortunately JAF1948 you may well be correct with your assessment. Timeline slippage is frustrating, but projects hanging in the balance is a potential disaster. I hold less here than I have for many years. It's just so slow. But you never know, one day... one year... but which century...

Some hefty director buys at this stage would be helpful and surely extremely profitable for them given the expected returns over the next x years.

Bravo JD.

Indeed Jaf. I was a bit concerned today though that the usual long termers didn't come out with the much overly used 'back in buying territory' or the like.

As an ex-shareholder, I have restricted my comments on here lately, but it seems a good time to reminisce !

There is no mystery to the AAU share price. Unless you are one of the lucky ones like Biggles who can afford to put capital aside for a long term gain, most private investors need to show a return on their capital usually within a limited time-scale, in my case around 12 months.

There are only two ways that can happen - dividends or capital gains. We know there will not be any dividends in 2023 with the announced delays and the company's strategy, whilst totally valid, has not to date shown any signs of attracting new investors possibly for the reasons I have just stated. Therefore with most current long-term holders already maxed out, very few new shareholders coming on board, and many existing ones getting out (as I did earlier in the year), the share price can only go one way.
