Exactly Charles why aren't they doing that, like it's a big secret and so hard to fathom.
But I believe it all lands at the door of Kerim, how he likes to run the company and why he is happy with the sludge that PG turn out.
It's nothing new this but it's wrong on so many levels.
Like Plasybryn says he needs to accept it's a listed company and not his baby.

Unfortunately the company explanation hasn't missed you because there has never been one...its like the old story must be kept as one big private family secret.What we need are a few black sheep with big mouths to blurt it all out...so to speak.

Very good post Charles. Why is it we shareholders can see these issues so clearly yet the Chairman & CEO seem totally blinkered. It is time for Kerim to accept it isn't his Co; it belongs to us the shareholders. That is why we must continue to push for a new independent Non Executive Director to bring better balance and ensure our interests are addressed. Did you listen to the recent presentation given by Chris Sangster. It was so much more strategic and shareholder aligned.

Thanks Soul. I still believe the company is internally a very capable organisation with the right assets, the right people and the potential to massively outperform. What I am unsure about is why this isn't being shouted from the rooftops. Is it a lack of confidence or self doubts as to capability at the top? Or perhaps a reluctance to communicate with shareholders on issues that concern them and a firm re-affirmation of the company's power structure? Why won't Kerim directly engage with shareholders by email? Even delegation of this function to a senior employee would give shareholders some feeling of being a valued part of the story instead of being cut off and pushed away and made to communicate through an agency. I may have missed the company's explanation for this and if so, would be grateful if someone could update me.

What is most disappointing is that Kerim was still finding a way, excruciatingly, to defend that pile of garbage PG produced on top of the garbage they have produced before.

Trevor thanks for your input. What you wrote is certainly valid and IMHO PG is the disgracefully non-commital elephant in the room but there's another one too. The company doesn't want to commit to any timescales and unfortunately this leaves it in the sargasso sea. A lot of investors / speculators have given up and left, leaving only the clued up visionaries holding most of the stock (this includes the directors and major shareholders including biggles. I think the bod and P G need to man up, grow a pair and do their jobs properly with the company's shareholders, the true owners of the company, in mind. Firstly, lay out a plan of what is achievable with goals and realistic targets and timescales. Secondly, find a broker to run a slide rule over the figures and put a realistic price on the company and promote it properly. If PG can't do that, find another that can.

Interesting investor meet yesterday, I wasnt very impressed with the Q&A but I was impressed with the way John Griffith stuck to his guns over the PG question (is he a institutional investor or private ?.
I feel Kerim really does not get why we are all so disappointed with PG and there input or lack of it.
He also does not seem to understand that when they undersell us on mine life of Kizel etc it is doing the share price and the story down
I think MDV is more on side of getting a new or additional broker
I am also with the faction on here who think an additional director would be an assett

Maybe it's just me but it seems clueless to keep kicking production from Apliki however far down the road until the copper price or market forces improve when we have the money to be moving it along.
Surely Ariana could offer up a loan to carry them through to ipo to ensure production starts at the earliest possible time which would Surely suit both companies.
If we believe many of the pundits we could be in a lengthy downturn.

Operations at salinbas by Ariana exploration team Oz have commercial input, $8m dollars and one rig out there, poss two more joining. OZ come into their own with big manufacturing plant not gold exploration. Rigs are finite number and have to be hired. It's logical no operational input at this stage but I too had made assumption they would have input. Venus was good to go for IPO June but didn't proceed on basis of copper value falling and markets in general not conducive to IPO. Annoying but correct decision. I would expect Venus to make ultimate decision but of course AAU has input. I think that was KS shifting blame but thing his response raised more questions. Should have said not right time end off.

Soul,Thanks for asking. Currently sitting on balcony on a cruise ship in the Med. It's tough but someone's got to do it.Wifi is so slow that it hasn't been worth trying to post but will be back this weekend.Reading the comments about yesterday, I still feel this company is being run by the BoD for the Bod but I'm not selling any more at the moment.

He seemed excited about leopards but I agree - he could have been a bit more enthusiastic! Still, he's an excellent geologist!
