Maybe it's just me but it seems clueless to keep kicking production from Apliki however far down the road until the copper price or market forces improve when we have the money to be moving it along.
Surely Ariana could offer up a loan to carry them through to ipo to ensure production starts at the earliest possible time which would Surely suit both companies.
If we believe many of the pundits we could be in a lengthy downturn.

Operations at salinbas by Ariana exploration team Oz have commercial input, $8m dollars and one rig out there, poss two more joining. OZ come into their own with big manufacturing plant not gold exploration. Rigs are finite number and have to be hired. It's logical no operational input at this stage but I too had made assumption they would have input. Venus was good to go for IPO June but didn't proceed on basis of copper value falling and markets in general not conducive to IPO. Annoying but correct decision. I would expect Venus to make ultimate decision but of course AAU has input. I think that was KS shifting blame but thing his response raised more questions. Should have said not right time end off.

Soul,Thanks for asking. Currently sitting on balcony on a cruise ship in the Med. It's tough but someone's got to do it.Wifi is so slow that it hasn't been worth trying to post but will be back this weekend.Reading the comments about yesterday, I still feel this company is being run by the BoD for the Bod but I'm not selling any more at the moment.

pace of ozaltin drilling at salinbas is not glacial, its non existent. ks told us yesterady ozaltin has no operational input. did i hear that wrong?

Dude, do you really need to complain about finding five years ago!?? We bought into Venus relatively recently compared to the normal ten years from discovery to mining.....As Kerim said - you need to see the positives hahahahahaha :-P

I don't fault the logic Shortarm, if only Kerim had been a bit more circumspect when doing our own funding.
Although, the pace of doing things with Venus in Cyprus has been as glacial as getting Tavsan to production and the pace of Ozaltin drilling at Salinbas.
All about timing.

Copper hit a low of 3.20 in July this year after something of a downward trend. Now it is back up to 3.66 and seems to be heading higher - it seems PRUDENT to me to add as much as possible to the IPO to enhance profit for existing holders rather that freely giving it away to new ones.Maybe I'm not in as much of a rush as some other holders but I do not fault the logic!

Well he said yesterday, as I understood it, they had reigned their horns because of the market and were going to do some more desktop work so that it could be marketed better when doing the ipo.
Although I am not sure who is doing this as it seems we have no bearing on it even though we are 50% holders 😏
It is near mid August now and I daresay they will have to start the process again once this extra work has been done.
I will stick my neck out and say it is unlikely.

All a bit of after the lord mayor's parade today if the lord mayor's parade was a one man band standing on Hyde Park Corner 😏.

Let's hope we can move on from yesterday, we see some positive changes and some news to propel the share price now that we are unlikely to see Venus ipo this year.

Soon: (ish) - Project Leopard licenses applied for and granted..... Looking forward to finding out what they will discover in this prospective ground where they are exceedingly familiar with the geology and have had the Newmont database there for a long time!
