My guess is that most of the buying has been for the dividend. We shall soon see.

have not followed it closely, but get the sense that buying over last few days has not been matched by selling?

if so, has the persistent selling, regardless whether many sellers or 1/few large seller(s), come to an end?

There cant be too many small ( if any ) AIM listed exploration companies ( value approx $55mill)who have not raised funds for years by issuing shares,paid dividends in 2021/22 of in excess of 12% of the average share price ,have a very large cash balance,Directors who seem to increase their skin in the game at every opportunity & with terrific partners & strong exploration prospects-apart from having a growing reputation for success -whose share price has flatlined,or fallen back for a considerable period of time.Finals due soon will be interesting in respect of dividends payable & , for an exploration company, the crazy idea that they could even contemplate a buy back,thereby increasing our holdings accordingly.

RNS states 3rd March.

“ The record date for the second tranche is 4 March 2022. The Company's shares will become ex-dividend on 3 March 2022.”

This has spent too long in the doldrums which it doesn't deserve. If thoroughly researched it can be seen as a successful explorer using state of the art technology and a clever miner that uses every method available to maximise efficiency. Not only that. AAU has several developing assets that are slowly coming to fruition over the next few years. I believe the market is starting to wake up now. I am looking forward to AAU being my best performing share in 2022.

Agreed Lottsgold. Bit too sophisticated for them! However that is the sort of thing Yellow Jersey should be recommending. Perhaps they will surprise us. We live in hope. About time we had production guidance as well. Talk about playing it safe. Surprised they don't delay that till November! Ha ha

I would go for news tomorrow on the ex dividend date to offset the normal dividend dilution effect. Just a thought.

Well still no news but at least the share price is going in the right direction and the graph is starting to look much better for a decent move up.

A new mine permitted would go down well, it's got to be close, haha. I keep looking at this and thinking it's needs to double to be anywhere near realistic with the prospect of Tavsan and Apliki around the corner...All our assets are currently valued at around £20 million it's laughable.

If there had been same number of sells as there has been buys today then you could guarantee shareprice would be 5% lower. With the buys not a tick up. Mms playing games
