Lol Shortarm no need for the apology, I think we have all been guilty of that here.

It seems lip service was paid to it again to placate shareholders but Kerim will do it when he is ready or not at all while long term shareholders continue sell down or out.

Good to hear from you CSSF. Hope you are well.
You have pretty much nailed it with that synopsis.
There is plenty going on I think but little to excite or it's kept on the QT/low profile, and with nothing but the cash in the public domain for shareholders to tag a valuation on to.
Like I said the other day Kerim is playing this so wrong from a shareholders prospective as this is a PI stock and you have just highlighted the very same reason as others for thinking of moving on.
It's already bad enough for shareholders that they have the 'perception' he is running the company at arms length and he is not giving it his full attention.

I've obviously been quite slow on the pick-up in terms of Kerim's ambitions. Clearly this could have been a company with "attitude", but in retrospect those were obviously words only.

What does 'Ariana with attitude' mean? It's 'new Labour' talk. BS in other words. Kerim is doing exactly the right thing, don't get me wrong, for his risk tolerance, his family and his close shareholders. He's not exactly 'an ambitious risk taker' shooting for the stars. He's going for slow steady 'pension' growth. I'm afraid that bores the s__t out of me.

I've held a million shares for about 15 years and yes I've had a good return, but in another 15 years I'll probably be dead, so I'm seriously thinking of moving my remaining holding over to something like KAV or similar, with a bit of ambition and risk tolerance. I'm getting tired of this. How on earth does a company with the production of Kiziltepe, the 'one day' production of Tavsan and Salinbas, Venus et al have a pathetic MC of circa £40m with gold at $1800?

Apologies for the negatives, but there appears to be not a lot going on here, particularly since the JV. Correct me if I'm wrong, please...

If it was purely a presentation or webinar from Ariana I may expect some news but can't think they would have arranged news to coincide with Mines and Money.
Hopefully I am wrong and we can have something to get our teeth into instead more of the same.

konil yes I don't mind so long as there is a mixture of the two.
Not many investors have any interest past 6 months, some a lot less than that and they will know, being investors in the mining sector, how long things take.
Case in point - Tavsan.

i was too, but also the longer term stuff.

i think we have at least one near term investment lined up by way of alpiki. although fully permitted (and built?) there will be start up costs and aau could use some of its existing cash pile and also the 50% dollop of venus ipo cash towards its commitment to the apliki mine. (but maybe i just dreamt about the venus ipo, havent a heard a scooby about it recently?)
