26/11/2021 08:32 | In today's DT: 'The new South Africa variant is feared to be more transmissible and could even evade vaccines.' Not 'will evade' just 'could evade' and the market goes down 3%. You couldn't make it up. | ![]() jaf1948
25/11/2021 21:11 | Dont understand the last few minimal volume trades - presumably it costs more to place the trade than the shares are worth or is something else afoot? | steviec1

25/11/2021 13:22 | Nice choice of reporting period shortarm, suits your argument, maybe you should be on Twitter with that approach :).Playing the same game though I'll go back another 6 months or so and see PALM 6 bagging to now and AAU just over a penny up despite multiple positive developments. | kirbs4
25/11/2021 13:10 | And Palm is down from 17 to 12, what is it that you're saying? You'd like to know more even though it makes no difference? | ![]() shortarm
25/11/2021 13:03 | Darren over at PALM giving more (and concise) information In one tweet today than we get about AAU in a quarter. No dress up, no corporate bullish!T, no jargon, just Information that is useful to know, isn't buried in an rns, and stops speculation. | kirbs4
25/11/2021 11:23 | I think it's not so much alternative views you need but alternative companies. I see Ariana as a decent little company with technically competent management. I have done well out of my multi year investment, but over the last year or so have reduced my shareholding from 10 to under 4 million. This has proved to be a very profitable move. My point is that it can be easy to convince oneself that a company is somehow special or the best by concentrating too much on that one company. IMO there are many companies that have stories and prospects as good as or better than Ariana's. I invest a lot on the ASX and there are some genuinely dynamic, well run, communicative outfits that are more attractive to me at least. | sonoftherock

25/11/2021 10:13 | Charles, I can't agree with everything you just said. The company is NOT confident enough to pay dividends yet - all we have had is a special dividend arising from a windfall. Yes, most of us believe that the company is operationally and financially sound but that is not the same as believing that the profitability will actually flow down to shareholders as opposed to being used up on KS's next exploration scheme. That last point is certainly my fear with this company. As I have said before, KS runs this like a private company and currently can do as he pleases IMO. He may well argue that he is building the company up and these are the necessary building blocks, which is probably tue, but it does make many of us wonder how long it will be before we actually partake of the fruits of his labours. | ![]() jaf1948
25/11/2021 10:03 | Thanks - no matter how well we think we have researched and know the company there may be something important that we have overlooked. On balance, a large seller mindset would probably be biased towards the negatives. However I think if there was anything going badly wrong we would have all known about it by now. But I have an open mind and would welcome any alternative views. We already know about the company's reluctance to promote itself but its achievements speak for themselves so is there any need to take this further? The company is operationally and financially sound to the point that it is confident enough to pay dividends so I can't really believe people are selling for lack of promotion. | ![]() charles clore

25/11/2021 09:17 | Sticking my neck out here. One possible scenario I see is that the chart actually turned upwards after 13th Oct and is now at the start of a run similar to that shown from Oct 2018. Save your judgment/bullets for Feb 2022 please, its not so long to wait There are of course other possible outcomes, just thought this one stood out. | ![]() thanksamillion
