28/10/2021 08:18 | Very interesting and as you say AAU has not faired too badly in comparison | ![]() d1g3y
27/10/2021 20:06 | Quite interesting post on Twitter about how the minnows have faired in 2021. AAU has actually been one of the best places to be. https://twitter.com/ | ![]() lottsgold

27/10/2021 16:50 | "Sulfur wasn't recognized as being that important, but we found it actually enhances gold solubility and solubility is a very important step in forming a gold deposit," explains Linnen. "In some cases, we were detecting eight times the amount of gold if sulfur was also present." -------------------- Improving Gold Recovery from Refractory Gold Ores Through Biooxidation using Iron-Sulfur-Oxidizin -------------------- -------------------- eg "high sulphur gold" phrase exists meaning - good and or stinky gold | ![]() kaos3
27/10/2021 16:22 | millwall, I appreciate what you say but as 8445 clearly demonstrates it's best that I remain a lurker in the main. mabel | ![]() mabel 123
27/10/2021 14:23 | I see there are two large trades today, 2.4m and 2.6m from yesterday late afternoon, they look like sales. Directors again? Actually I am a bit confused, are they allowed to deal so close to an RNS. | ![]() thanksamillion
27/10/2021 13:56 | 51.8m @ 0.96g/t Au + 0.51% Cu + 0.28% Zn + 8.21% S a Q - why is sulphur at the end of data S 8.21 % important? to determine ore prospects, to determine flotation method - eg economics or what? TIA | ![]() kaos3
27/10/2021 13:42 | I really dont think we want a politicall free-for-all here - there are other dedicated threads for that | ![]() actonovator

27/10/2021 12:51 | biggles, I have only bought AAU, never sold any. My first purchase was in June 2019, my second in February 2020 and my last one in July 2020. The last one was badly timed at 5.5p and my average price is 3.58p Thanks Charles - it's a while since I posted on the AU thread. I'm mostly a lurker here - don't think my views on some topics would go down well here. mabel | ![]() mabel 123

27/10/2021 10:18 | The e-mail version of the RNS arrived at 0917 this morning. Unless people are glued to sites like this, no wonder there isn't more of a reaction at the open on an RNS day. Bloody useless. | ![]() zedder
27/10/2021 10:09 | Mabel is a respected contributor on the really useful gold and silver threads. Good to see her here. | ![]() charles clore

27/10/2021 09:17 | Ariana – Oh No: Not More Good News! BY NIGEL SOMERVILLE, THE DEPUTY SHERIFF OF AIM AIM-listed Gold (and Silver) producer in Turkey, Ariana Resources (AAU), has had a wonderful summer in terms of its Gold exploration activities with a stack of very promising drill results from across its portfolio which suggest good news to come next year. Gold and Gold stocks may have had a torrid time, but on the exploration front Ariana hasn’t been able to disappoint and this morning saw yet more good news from investee Venus Minerals in Cyprus. 23 minutes ago | ![]() xow98

27/10/2021 09:15 | Now seems as good a time as any to be accumulating here. Not necessarily in large chunks, but as and when funds allow. Personally, some strong news on Salinbas is what I'm itching to see though, followed by a huge sigh of relief :-) | ![]() dixi
27/10/2021 09:02 | Many investors sell into the good news restricting the increase. As some point it will break through. As I've always harped on the fundamentals just keep getting better and better and I'm totally comfortable. That comfort in the fundamentals is as important as share price movement due to the size of my holding. If share price increased but company needed capital I wouldn't be as comfortable . | ![]() bigglesbingham
27/10/2021 08:55 | Interesting twitter thread Where are we in the precious metals cycle? | ![]() xow98

27/10/2021 08:47 | It cannot be disputed that they are one of the best in the business at finding gold as exemplified by one of the lowest cost per ounce exploration figures in the world. Looking forward to their expertise being unleashed on salinbas. I have a vague recollection from discussions at the mine visit (3years ago) that previous JV drilling locations were chosen by Eldorado (their previous partner) and they didn't drill where Ariana wanted them to. Now AAU has autonomy on where to drill and OZALTIN will be funding it, nice work KS. | ![]() bigglesbingham
27/10/2021 08:23 | I have a sneaky feeling the Magellan project may be on route to being a third mine in production? Unless it's truckable to the other plant at Apliki(eventually) but surely all involved would want to have a second up and running? Seeing as there is minimal set up cost at Apliki maybe Magellan is our buy in? | ![]() lottsgold |
