14/10/2021 07:48 | For me this is the best but.As recently reported, there remains the potential to substantially increase the resource base at Tavsan with further drilling and development work. With this in mind, as we accelerate towards production and the generation of maiden revenues at Tavsan, our attention remains squarely on the evaluation and development of our wider investment portfolio across the full-cycle of exploration, development and production."8 years will be 12-15 or 30k oz to 50oz one ore the other, who can doubt KS's predicted £500m Mcap now. Not me, but then I never did, said yesterday something happening, big news this. Happy days | ![]() renniks2016
14/10/2021 07:43 | Tavsan has mega financials. It is rare to come across one so good. The Scoping Study gave us cash/costs of $630/oz. A global resource of 4mt@1.3G/t Au & 4.5G/tAg. A NPV of $42m. But the world class numbers were the IRR at 80% and a payback in just 1.1 years on just $20m of initial capital. These figures are no doubt conservative as Kerim has said there will be a new Resource and the Life of Mine will double from 4 years to probably 8 yrs plus. I look forward to hearing what PG make of all this. Perhaps they'll wait for the new resource. | ![]() plasybryn
14/10/2021 07:39 | Mostly forestry I believe | ![]() shortarm
14/10/2021 07:37 | .... necessary land acquisitions..... what would that be? infrastructure like roads, energy infrastructure, processing etc? - how can one be sure to get to 100 % of the functional land package needed just curious how it works? TIA and great news | ![]() kaos3
14/10/2021 07:31 | Interesting that they also included this in the RNS “ our attention remains squarely on the evaluation and development of our wider investment portfolio across the full-cycle of exploration, development and production." | ![]() xow98
14/10/2021 07:30 | Very good news 👍 | ![]() soulsauce
14/10/2021 07:26 | The EIA is the major hurdle for sure though, let's take the positive. The RNS was never going to say Tavsan mine to be built the day after EIA approved we should all expect this by now it's how mining works.Gold price peeking up too, hopefully keeps its head above water and we can start to get some new investors into the space. | ![]() lottsgold
14/10/2021 07:23 | Oh how we have waited for this. Wonderful news. This is a big day. A major milestone. Tavsan is go. Hopefully it will be in production by the end of 2022 or early 2023. Come on Panmure Gordon, you can now really up that Tavsan valuation. Perhaps this is what Kerim was waiting for, as the PG note would have been out of date without this major advancement. Wise move Kerim. | ![]() plasybryn
14/10/2021 07:22 | EIA mine approval is great news and the time from mine built start to production is super quick too at approx a year, that said they still are awaiting a few permits and land acquisition so it's not quite all systems go just yet. ''Construction will commence following receipt of final permits and the completion of necessary land acquisitions, which are already 65% completed. Following the receipt of the EIA, Zenit can now apply for permits including those for construction, health and safety, and forestry, among others, with production expected to commence within 12 months after the initiation of construction.'' | ![]() temujiin

14/10/2021 07:05 | I do like it when Keri says imminent early always means in a day or two. 2 mines in development over the next 2 years now surely that will get us moving! | ![]() lottsgold

13/10/2021 18:05 | Is anyone else getting yesterdays gold chart on this BB, I have had todays shown on odd refreshes today but yesterdays shown mostly. | ![]() thanksamillion
13/10/2021 17:29 | They are so conservative I wouldn't hold your breath. Just shows what a silly excuse kerim gave for no broker note ie so much happening that it would be out of date as soon as printed. Well I for one would like to look at a broker note which is out of date by a month rather than 18 months. However they then said they are currently working on a note so we will see. | ![]() bigglesbingham
13/10/2021 17:04 | Kerim is always very reluctant to talk about values and potential, unlike many CEO's who let perhaps their enthusiasm run away. That's another reason he is so guarded about a Gantt chart. He set out yesterday the tentacles of the Octupus, but they need to be shown in relation to each other with broad timescales so investors can see the value points. His guardedness and timidness is frustrating in my book. But I know some disagree and are happy to avoid this potential for getting timing wrong. In my book we live with that. That is normal for any Co. But what we want to see is what the Director's are working towards. When they expect key milestones to occur. They can caveat it, especially permits etc. which they can't precisely control. We can't blame the Co. if a delay has occurred because a Govt. Dept. has taken longer than expected to issue a permit. | ![]() plasybryn
13/10/2021 16:58 | the venus/apliki jv is a real blinder imo. aau reckon the jv will get to a working copper mine in say about 2 years (18 months after venus listing). as far as venus is concerned that is 2 years from a 'standing start' thanks to the fully permitted mine they are buying into. and venus will probably use the mine to fast track its magellan cu/au resource into production. the lack of market response shows how far under the radar aau is. however, this may change with ipo for venus? | ![]() konil
13/10/2021 16:50 | Plas and Biggles, I know it is not easy, or even wise, to try to quantify everything that Ariana will do but some guidelines might help - e.g. saying a mine will last x+2 years when it was planned for x years just seems to be ignored. | ![]() jaf1948
13/10/2021 16:43 | Hi JAF :- the Panmure Gordon note usually provides two methodologies but one lists the assets and extends values. I believe the last full note was 14th May 2020. | ![]() plasybryn
13/10/2021 16:37 | Agreed, news flow is much more likely to change the course of the share price That said it was very interesting how exactly the chart fitted within the wedge | ![]() d1g3y
13/10/2021 16:37 | Gold on a stunning rise $1792, is the inflation genie finally getting recognition. | ![]() thanksamillion
13/10/2021 16:29 | Not a great fan of charts linked to small aim companies which rely on developments within the company to progress the shareprice. | ![]() bigglesbingham
13/10/2021 16:27 | It's not realistic to apply monetary values to each project one it's very difficult to do and secondly they would be making a rod for their own back because you'd hold them to it and if for reasons outside their control it didn't realise the value they would be hammered as would the Shareprice. Similar rationale as to why they don't do a Gantt chart which is a correct decision in my view (sorry Plas) | ![]() bigglesbingham
13/10/2021 16:27 | I'm no chartist but there did seem to be a wedge formed over the last year or so with lower highs and higher lows. This was finally broken to the down side about a week ago. Had really hoped it would break the other way. As a novice I see the next support level at about 3.5p | ![]() d1g3y |
