18/10/2021 11:34 | plasybryn, thanks for the link. i noted that the venus ipo which was "prior to the end of 2021" in 12 oct rns, has slipped to "ipo probably early next year" in the proactive interview. of course need to get the ipo done properly to raise the funds for the apliki project. hope the reconfiguration to adapt the operating mine for apliki doesn't slip too much. at least all the permitting is done or so we are told. apliki resource 10mt @ 0.34%, low grade but oxide, ks suggests oxide is an advantage, i need to learn about it! anyway if my maths is correct that equates to 34000 tons, at prevailing price $10000/ton = $340m. npv lower of course but need more numbers, costs, run rate, etc. to figure that. doinnuthing, i'm guessing that the apliki resource ks mentioned in the interview (10mt cu) will be included in the jv. i suppose venus will be bringing the financing for the mine via its proposed ipo? further down the road i'd guess each 50/50 partner could sell individually owned ore outside the apliki resource (eg. venus magellan) into the jv or have it processed at apliki for a fee? or if venus intend to sell magellan it will attract an even higher price if buyer has a ready made route to production via the apliki mine? gives options for value creation. | ![]() konil

18/10/2021 08:20 | You've got to hand it to the BOD's creative ability. There can't be many threads with so much chat about over hyped promises over such a lengthy period ; a bit like the share price where nothing ever happens. Still, each one to their own I suppose. | ![]() q2g

17/10/2021 19:53 | Re The JV of Venus with HCM I see the situation as: HCM have the assets HCM have the processing plant (they have used for their other mine) HCM have obtained all the permits so my questions are a)why do they need Venus? b) at what price Venus have to pay to become a 50/50 JV partner on the mine c) will the assets previously used for the other mine be transferred as part of the deal to the new JV or kept separate and mine output sold to it or processed for a fee? ci)if assets not transferred then what processing cost is there for use of the processing plant that is not located at the mine (i.e. the existing assets) that will be charged to the new JV For me we need more details from the HCM/Venus minerals JV which should be available mid November to know how good a deal this is for Venus Minerals and hence AAU. as we also need to understand how Venus assets may be exploited within the new HCM/VENUS JV or if this is a totally independant activity which is something we may get from the IPO of Venus. The structure of the deal looks similar to when Proccea bought into Red Rabbit initially but they were bringing in their expertise of mine building/ operation. As I see it HCM have this already so again I wonder why do they need Venus? Hopefully the IPO of Venus will explain this if the main purpose is to fund buying into the JV. | ![]() doinnuthing

17/10/2021 16:17 | It always has been , all the information has always been out there apart from Venus float and panther Aussie. But as I've said any well balanced decision based on the facts at the time cannot be deemed a bad decision. I've always harder on about fundamentals but cash is also king and they have more than enough to meet their goals which for a small junior is very rare. Im surprised CHF holders are adding their when the prospects here seem so much better. | ![]() bigglesbingham
17/10/2021 16:14 | thanks for the links guys, most useful. from page 9 of the hcm pdf version; "Further works are also under progress for the creation of a new unit for the exploitation of HCM’s gold-bearing ores. In this respect, the necessary metallurgical studies have been conducted, while research is being done for selecting the optimum production method." hcm also seem to have a head start on the gold though ks may override some of that or perhaps add to it. like i said earlier, a producing mine in c.2years from effectively a standing start from venus' perspective is very rapid in mining terms, enabled by creating the apliki jv. the proposed venus ipo may awaken the market to this. | ![]() konil

17/10/2021 10:43 | Thanks renniks2016. The article says HCM have completed a Feasibility Study for the exploitation and operation of a new mine in Aplike area. Have we seen this? All Govt. permits & licences have already been granted. | ![]() plasybryn
17/10/2021 08:48 | Some info regarding Hellenic, vast wealth of experience and produces the highest grade copper available, looking at the map the Apliki deposit is significant to say the least. Add gold recovery to a £10k+ pt CU price and this becomes very exciting, bring in Magellan, then you could be talking decades of production, value forming in very direction, keep involvement, explore and sell back into, sell %, the options are fascinating. | ![]() renniks2016
17/10/2021 08:12 | The Copper price charts looks fantastic. The speed with which Ariana achieved 50% earn-in (2 years instead of anticipated 3) to Venus has been impressive. For me this showed real intent. Although hardly outside the realms of reasonable possibility that the drill bit hits a world class deposit in Salinbas, I rather think instead this Cyprus project will be the making of the company. The jv with Hellenic and the ipo couldnt have come at a better time. Surely you have to believe its not its strap-in time here? And Friday's trading pattern was weird wasnt it? A mini-deluge of buys at about the 4.70 mark, following by a mini-deluge of sells at just above 4.70(then nothing for the afternoon). A producing Copper mine within 2 years in these fevered times is indeed something to dream about. Interesting times ahead. | ![]() actonovator

15/10/2021 14:01 | bb, thanks. bosbus, yes agreed, that is what i said, at least i thought i did! unless you are drawing a distinction between issuing a prospectus for ipo and the actual listing, which are of course discrete events, and an ipo if priced incorrectly may not start well. or have i missed your point completely? | ![]() konil |
